    Matchmaking is better then it's ever been now, just cause you do not understand the matchmaking system doesn't mean it's broken.

    You think that 1. One. Uno. I. (i'd say it other ways if I knew how to) 9.5 base should bring in 4 extra TH11s? You think 1. One. Uno. I. 9.5 base should classify a clan as engineered?

    Pull your head out of the sand. The new MM is broken. It's much worse than the last one, and it's not even close.

    Per what I've told them for the last 4 years now...

    ONLY way you can make the matchmaking 100% fair is to make each base have 2 defensive slots.
    2 attacks vs 1 defense will give engineered clans the advantage no matter what kind of algorithm fixing they do.

    They are clearly engineered, but not very well.
    They have 5 TH11 advantage, but we have hero advantage.
    Id say we have advantage on defence on our TH10s

    looks like a close war, and will be down to how our TH11s perform on first attacks.

    best match up we've had, which says something!!!

    War 9 & 10 will prove interesting as it will be 40+ in line up.

    as as you can see lots have just moved up to the next TH.

    pretty even match up. (Our 2nd on the new MM)

    Weve added 8 TH10s and 2 TH11s to our lineup and got a fair match up. Don't understand why we don't get one in a 30v30.
    ill post the results, and what our next match up is.

    Remarkably I think they have made matchmaking worse. Quite an achievement. Last war we were two high end eagle and wardens down in a 15 person war (and no, the lower bases were equivalent rather than easy) and this war our opponent is engineered out of the wazoo.
    it is really hard to get people to war when it is this bad and the alternative seems to be farm or become fwa.

    The new matchmaking is seriously broken. Before we would have from time to time engineered clan . 1 in 5 to 7 wars would be almost worthless to play. Now it is insane.
    Last war 15 vs 15. We had 1 th11 and a recent th11 (1 week old) vs 5 th11. Pointless to play.
    worse is the th9 situation.
    we only have young th 9 and they are now systematically faced against fully maxed th9.
    As a developer I don't get it how difficult this seems to be.
    i actually think there must be a penalty in place linked to the war win streak that kills all your chance to win by skills by making you face clans with massively higher defense and offense.

    Ridiculous War MM and what i think should be done to fix it easely
    The worst MM we have face since the ckan exist. On our actual random war 40 vs 40 they have 27 th11 and us only 10 it simply ridoculous. Why this? Dont you think that should easely be fix just by putting a minimum weight on each TH. Like when you do league war like CWL, NDL , ACL, MLCWL,.... since a max th9 weight is 70 so when you have a th 10 your minimal weight should be 70. Samething for th11 th10 max weight is 90 so minimum weight of th11 should be 90. The clan who have engeneer base or mono canon base will then have no choice but to adjust their war weight. I think this will be the easiest way to solve this problem. Dont tell me that this MM is a fair play MM.

    We have 2 th11 in a 15 man war they have 9

    matchups are worse now then befor we dont have engineered bases an we get them 2th11 on our side 9 on thers in a 15 man war

    Why isn't this a sticky? Current war we have one th11 as our top base. They have two th11s at the top both with eagles level 2. They also have a th11 at 9 with max warden bowlers and witches. Last war was about the same, nothing is fixed... have we had any kind of further update?

    After having a short celebration on our 400th war win (Also a miss match), we just got punished by Supercell's awesome new matchmaking algorithms like never before.We just got matched with the following setup:

    US
    -----------
    3x TH11
    4x TH10
    13x TH9


    THEM
    -----------
    13x TH11
    5x TH10
    2x TH9

    But to be completely honest its been rubbish over a year now for our clan, at least 70+% of our match ups are in favour of our enemy, guess rushers and engineers are the ones being rewarded in normal wars over the people maxing out and actually using their accounts for competitive play/tournaments/cups/leagues.

    I fail to see the reason behind this system going on for so long. Is Supercell purposely rewarding these other groups of players because they bring in more money or something? Are they trying to force competitive players out of normal match ups? Or is it sheer incompetence of Supercell's employees working on these algorithms? I mean it can't be the last point right? Other multi million dollar/billion dollar companies are spewing out artificial narrow intelligence and Supercell cant come up with these basic/simple parameterized algorithms within such a long timespan?
