    So War #7 even bigger offensive mismatch than before. (30v30) took less than 20 mins.

    Us
    1-14 TH11
    15-26 TH10
    27-30 TH9

    Them
    1-21 TH11
    22 TH10
    23 TH11
    24-25 TH10
    26 TH11
    27-30 TH10

    Rather than list each bases heroes etc see below
    Summary of War #7 on offence.


    Total troop levels
    Us / Them
    king - 1002 / 1138
    queen - 1057 / 1171
    warden - 245 / 427

    bowlers - 63 / 78
    witch - 70 / 75
    hound - 94 / 109
    loon - 191 / 202
    healer - 130 / 140

    They have 9 more TH11s than us, and as you can see high wardens.
    Clearly engineered clan as only 9 out of 23 have EA. (23 out of 30 are TH11 !!!)
    Most have low inferno or none also.

    We have a clear defence advantage, but this is so overpowered by their attack strength.

    Clear proof that offence strength is NOT considered high enough in algorithm.
    The only way to stop the engineers is with a high base weight on TH. (If you put weight on troops, they simply wouldn't upgrade non war troops, unless you only put weight on war troops)


    This is the 6th mis match in 7 wars, we always have had a TH disadvantage (old system), but never have we been matched against so many engineering clans.

    For everyone complaining it could be that the majority of clans engineer versus the traditional way these days.

    we have no engineered bases, a few new ones at different TH, most of us have maxed then upgraded, a few have rushed slightly earlier on heroes and walls, but nothing silly.

    But that counts for nothing with the new MM, seems to focus on defence, hence the reason why TH11s with Max troops are opposite TH10s at the bottom.

    Please report back the war result. Even though they have clear offense advtange it doesn't mean that they will win. Every wars we had so far has been more competitive than before, the scoring has been close, for us it seems as though the new matching is working.

    Out of 5 we were matched 2 against engineered with TH11s (we don't have any TH11).

    Other 3 matches were almost perfect good matches. Similar number of TH10s, 9s and 8s.

    Last 2 were spot on matches ... very competitive.

    I thinks this new MM is improving
    The Electric Light did not come from the continuous improvement of Candles ...

    We lost by two. I can't blame the MM. With 21 minutes left yours truly pulled an eighty-seven percent one star against a ring base. They came through. We didn't. Good game, and start getting ready for the weekend war.

    New War us 0 Th11s and 7 Th10 - them 5 Th11s and 6 TH10s

    So out of 6 wars 3 very well balanced match ups and 3 **** ups.

    Here is the basic problem. Everyone wants an advantage in war. But only one side can win every war. You are asking for a system that gives everyone the advantage, and no one loses. I estimate there are between 30k and 50k active clans engaged in war. that means about 200k - 500k wars fought since new MMA went active. Does Supercell have some data on these wars? Percentage of wars decided by 5 or more stars, before and after new MMA adjustments would be a strong indicator. Percentage of wars decided by one star or tie is another good indicator. Hard data is a good starting point for informed, intelligent discussion of whether the MMA is improving or hurting matches.

    Essentially I was saying that in the wars we have been matched with recently, the outcome hasn't necessarily come down to skill. We have won or lost because of the inability of the mm to match a close match.

    i don't want wars whereby we are walking over opponents because we have an advantage due to the mm nor do I want wars where opponents win because the mm gives them a clear advantage.

    give me a war match where it comes down to the last attack and % to decide a winner. Couldn't care a less if we won or lost that type of war (well not totally true , I hate losing) because at least it gets the adrenaline pumping. If the opponent wins in such a war, full credit to them and admiration for beating us by such a small margin in an even matchup!

    P.S I don't want an advantage in war. I don't engineer because I back my clan's skill! I just want a close fair fight where the result is determined by skill.

    The matchmaking is so broken rn. We have 3 th10s up top, 2 with infernoes. We matched two th11s up top and a near defenseless th11, all wi th wardens (no infernoes). But the bases are high lvl enough that we have no chance of 3ing the top, and they cleared us almost entirely. It's ridiculous how "fixed" this system is.
