That's not cheating.
Your position on the war map is dependent upon your defensive weight compared to others in your clan, regardless of your opponents.
The War matchmaking algorithm (despite its flaws) matches clans against clans, not single individual bases!

It is not cheating; it is the result of a flawed, exploitable matchmaker.
also you don't have to attack your opposite number, pick someone you can 3 star or scout a higher base for someone.

OP, what is the rest of the lineup for both rosters? That is how the matchups are done, not base to base...
