What is so wrong about lightning dark elixir?

nothing wrong with it all these th7/8 raiding my maxed storage th 6 base (800-1000 cup) while i wait for the upgrade is gonna get a good revenge zapping once i get my DE storage and 3rd lighting spell.

i already have a th 8 guy im watching and no i will not give him a shield either (farming base).

I honestly don't mind th7's and early th8's lightning my dark elixir because I remember when I was a th7 that was the way I got my barbarian king. But I hate it when maxed out th9's and especially nearly maxed th10's drop 4-5 lightning spells and steal half of my available dark elixir...just my honest opinion.

Just make DE storage impervious to lightning. Make DE drills 100% susceptible to looting.

I completely agree with this thread. You've gotta do what you've gotta do to get the job done, whether it be a higher th level demolishing a lower th level for gold and elixir or a lower th level taking DE from a higher th level. After all, they do say "all's fair in love and war."

I get really upset when people drop lightning spells on my dark elixir storage because I earn all of my dark elixir by doing a full on attack. I NEVER dropped lightning spells on anyone, even when I was a town hall 7 and was in dire, desperate need of dark elixir for my barbarian king. I would gain 1k+ dark elixir every hour and a half, by doing a giant-healer-wizard attack on a base that had a not so well protected dark elixir storage. By doing that, I managed to do all of my dark elixir lab upgrades and get my barbarian king to level 5. I am town hall 8 now, so do not tell me I should go up in trophies to evade this problem, for I will get decimated in crystal league or gold 1. I just want all of you lightning spell zappers to have the decency and courtesy to give me a free shield when you zap my dark elixir storage. If you zap me and do not give me a free shield, you will certainly pay!

I'm TH9 and was waiting on a TH7 that zapped my DE. It took so long to revenge him because other people kept on revenging him as well, that by the time I got a chance he was a TH8 and the loot penalty was only 10% instead of 50%. So I 3 star him using a barch army, and took him for 500k + close to 1K DE. Turns out, despite his white flag next to his corner TH, he also had bombs and teslas beside town hall. I guess I ruined his day for him ... lol

I actually like getting my DE zapped as long as they snipe my hall also. It will never compare to the loss of a smart TH10 finding my base.

If you zap and don't snipe me though, revenge is coming. Even if you have no loot, I'll make sure you pay one way or another, such as killing heroes and setting off some traps and of course no shield for you either.

lol I like a style. One time I ran into a poor zapper and had nothing of value worth raiding. I saw he had lvl 4 hogs in his CC, so I killed his heros and hogs with no shield.
