We are talking about intelligent use of all the weapons SC gave us!
Lightning DE storage is a legitimate use of this spell, exactly as how SC designed for it to be used.

To not use lightning just because a few users are crying and whining would be a dumb thing to do!

To use lightning intelligently, you should search for TH levels 2 or more above you, aim for 3000+ in available loot, and go after the drills, then deploy the lightning. This way, you will mostly be protected from revenge. And you do not sit around to wait for lightning spells to generate, you can keep raiding the next round with your regular troops with no down time. This is smart way to fully utilize all the tools at your disposable, and efficient supplement of DE gained from normal raiding. Look at it as an extra bonus of DE.

PLEASE explain how getting 1K DE per hour is smart compared to getting 3-5K per hour ?

One of my very first posts on this forum was the lightning on de issue. I have since learned to live with it. Getting angry over something that you cannot reliably revenge against is not worth the effort of punching a hole in my wall.

Your telling people on TH7 to raid TH8 and upwards, and yet your staying at a low trophy range to raid lower THs, I think your contradicting yourself...

Higher THs raiding lower THs even with penalty points is still profitable otherwise they won't be hanging around lower tropy ranges preying on the weak... I have 1700 DE/ 300+ Gold / 300+ elixir raided by higher THs everyday and I'm near max TH8. The fact that higher TH players staying in the lower trophy ranges to prey on lower THs deserve to be zapped... Although its possible on higher level trophy range but its not standard practice and very rarely happens, I've never been zapped above 2000 ever.

Woah calm down 12 yr old hot head with no respect for others, proper english and punctuation... Seriously, our drills cannot compensate for our zapped loss and they weren't supposed to negate for zapped DE by cowards.
Also provide your range, IGN and clan; ill come gunning for you! But you sound like someone that is partly illiterate and is in primary. Stay out of this affair until you have a sophisticated arguement to add.
