What is so wrong about lightning dark elixir?

I guess they should not. If they nevertheless can do so, then you have placed yourself in a wrong trophy range. Man, you have made the decision to take the risk to get zapped. If you decide to raid the weaker ones and not equals, it is selfish to expect that they should not be able to harm you. Th7 has no valid means to raid a th9, zapping is the only one. And remember, th7 cannot yet produce DE, zapping is made for them. It is a part of game. Decision to get zapped is yours, if don't like it, don' go so low in trophies to raid those weak ones. It is nonsense to talk about loot penalties, you would not be there if it was not profitable to you.

The lighting spell was made BEFORE dark elixir !
Is not meant to convert gold into dark elixir !
And th 7 only needs around 100,000 dark elixir to do all dark elixir upgrades U can make like 5,000 a day sniping drills stop making stupid as excuses on why it's okay anyone can take the most valuable resource In the game and you can't do ♥♥♥♥ to defend against it.

Like someone said... it's no different than a th9/10 going to silver for cheap quick raids and 3 starring someone who knows it would be totally pointless to try and revenge back.

Funniest thing to me about this whole lightning de thing is that I learnt about it from the forum. I would never had known otherwise.

I know I am going to get hated when I said this... but guess after reading all this, I just can't help to type this.

For your info, I had only lightning once as a revenge when a TH10 came all the way down to 1100 trophy farm me and get my DE in the process when I am still only TH7. Any intelligent people here can teach me how to revenge and get my DE back from him when he had centralised DE and at least TH9 defense...

People here talk about there is no way to defend against lightning. But do you think the TH7 had means to defend against your level 6 troops? At least you all still can flatten their base after they light your DE. Do you think they have means against those close to max out base with level 4 troops?

Crying foul after getting light. If you really hate it, then just play in your playground with those higher levels. If you want to go to those lower level players playground to get easy sweets from those kiddie, then be prepared to get light by the kiddies as they are kiddies after all and they can only do so much.

So much of rebuking them saying lightning is inefficient or claiming moral high grounds is just making me sick.

Guess I am going to get flamed. Sighz... at least I feel better saying my piece.

Generally TH7s don't hold much DE for TH9+ so you wouldn't/shouldn't be getting flattened by lvl 6 troops unless on revenge.

To make u feel better. I have whopped up 80k DE since the 1gem boost for spells. Just by dropping lightning spells on 3k avail DE loot, I get 1.1k to 1.3k. Will be continuing to do so.

God knows why he wanted to hit at my base. Even though I had more than 1 mil gold and elixir, he can't really get much from me due to loot penalty. Guess only he himself will know why he did it.

Like what I mentioned in my previous post, my main point to just get this off my chest after seeing so many so called expert dissing those TH7 and claiming higher moral ground while they are the playground bullies that snatch lollipop from babies.

But they have their right to thumb down those TH7 but so do the others have their right to voice their piece...

You know what I find hard to be legitimate? You actually coming from a Unity clan before and supporting Lightning on DE.

I lightning DE now and then, when there's more than 2500+ available and I wouldn't break the base with my barch farm army. I'm a near maxed TH9 so I reckon, it'll be fun to have a revenge. It's like throwing a glove saying "come at me bro!". Sometimes they mass drag, ballinion, mass hog, mass witches, gowipe and it's often very close.

It adds a little flavor to farming grind for me.

Oh right, he wouldn't have gotten much loot. Generally while DE farming people rise up in trophies to attack juicier bases.
