I mean, its not hard to predict where those would be in most popular base designs.
If they have 2x2 gaps in between walls teslas are prolly there. If not, they are outside defending TH.
My suggestion is: make tesla look like collector or storage like they are camouflaged. Sure they would take 3x3 space but this way you can actually trick people and that would open up more cool plays.

Hmm, I like the Teslas how they are. If you are concerned about their obvious nature leave more 2x2 spaces lying around your base to keep your opponents guessing.

Nope, just make more 2x2 holes in your base to confuse attacked(best technic ever)
Or make them builders huts so they can still be 2x2.
