I have not read all the thread...I got bored! No disrespect intended to any that posted..

How on earth is this subject even measurable? Its not..plain and simple..

I raised a thread a few days ago about taking a bunch of hardcore farmers to see if we could make the Top 50.. This i am sorry to say would be impossible as the Clan would simply implode as illusrated beuatifully within this thread.

And i guess that is how you measure the strength of a clan, farming or not, their ability to function towards a common goal..

If a Clan has fun and achieves its own goals then its a great clan..

Looks to me this thread is getting out of hand. It seems a lot of people have jumped on the bandwagon and not actually bother to understand what Serj was actually asking. The question did not have anything to do with levels or defences. It was pure and simple. Which clan has 'farmed' or looted the most gold therefore making them the strongest farmer?

This is reflective not in players 'levels' (this is deceptive). There is an easy way to answer this question. If only Supercell would let us see how much gold and elixir each player has looted instead of stopping the count at 100m.

Unfortunately, we do not have this log so the other way to be able to answer the question is to look at each player in a clan and figure who has farmed and looted the most and have walls and defenses as maxed as poss for each TH level.

A STRONG Village = Max defenses AND Walls for each TH level.

A strong farmer would have both defences and walls maxed (not one or the other. BOTH) . Thats what makes a strong village. If a village has strong defense but its walls are not up to standard that simply means that the player has not actually farmed or looted enough gold therefore making that person an average farmer not a Strong one.

Orderofthieves is NOT a true farming clan because it is full of gemmers.

Honour44 is also NOT a true farming clan because it is full of gemmers.

Exploitation is a true farming clan and has the distinction of being the very first true farming clan.

Its funny when level 6 walls are said to have the same defense quality with level 8 walls. You should tell that to the goblins who inch their way through over partitioned bases with black walls. The time it takes to blast their way through over level 8 walls compared to level 6 walls differs, and within that difference of time frame,mortars and wizard towers' destruction ability to break your farming army should show you my point.


I dont really mind that my clan being called second or third, what i do mind is when someone says that level is the measure of how strong a player you are. When an argument argues about a strong farming clan, a farmer should at least know that back when farming was gold, many of us farmers went up a level (or two) within a month of farming. Why? Because when we farmed, we didnt go for the town hall. Thus the experience points that we gained were from donations and upgrades (biggest exp contributor).


Why do we farm? Resources. Where do resources go? Upgrades. What are the upgrades? Weapons, troops, and definitely WALLS.


There used to be good real farming clans out there.but the numbers decreased significantly due to their inability to keep the group together. And by real farming clans, i mean the ones that started from scratch.
