    Still got walls teslas AT AD 2 WT and some barracks upgrades left to be maxed. I would concentrate on teslas

    If your base has stood up well, that's good, but probably more a function of the combo of your trophy level and the amount of loot you are holding. In particular if your base isn't offering much, you're not going to get TH9 or even skilled TH8 raiding you, they will look elsewhere. The only tricky part might be the DE for someone who doesn't have an archer queen but even then with some skill in distracting mortars your base is skiny so it could probably be done.

    And I took everything you said into consideration, but actually just partly changed my base:




    I want to comment on most of your point-outs, since it seems you really took your time to help me.
    First, I know and experienced the changes in joining the Crystal League. And yes, the more 'determined' players will attack my base as long as my storages contain atleast 2m of gold and elixir each. And this month something that didn't happen for a LONG time, actually happened... 2 players 3 star'd my base. That's humiliating. Even though they were probably TH10s according to their troops and spells, used 4 spells and maxed troops.

    About my loot being "easily accessed", for real? Unless someone rages goblins or lightnings atleast 2 of my mortars any other troop except goblins doesn't get near my gold storages, the elixir storages are a different, I don't really care about 'em.

    And last but not least, your theory about the Archer Queen, you're more than invited to try! if my base has any real bold advantage, is protecting the center. The AQ won't even get close enough to my DE Storage. (unless multiple spells will be used, not that it's illegal ofc haha)

    I don't really believe in that CC that much. I don't find any troop REALLY useful except a minimum lvl 3 dragon.

    Definitely much improved but still a few things jump out at me that I have an issue with.

    -First of all, the clan castle. I know you said you don't find it useful, but there is a reason why everyone else says it is the most important defense. Let's just say you have 25 archers in there. Doesn't matter what level. Let's say everyone that attacks you does in fact know to lure the castle before going for the inside. The attack is going to have to use troops just to get them out in the first place and then also troops or a spell to kill them off. This handicaps them right away by probably 25 troops, most likely more. And the castle is a good tank/distraction if they do get to the middle. Now, let's say your everyone that attacks you does NOT lure the castle. Well, they are all ♥♥♥♥ed because your archers will post up behind the walls and shoot them up or they will panic and use a lightning after already taking a few volleys of arrows.

    -Outside wall Junctions- Every single exterior junction on this base will, when busted with wbs, give the attacker access to 2 or even 3 areas.

    - 5 of your 7 storages are enclosed in 2 different large cells. That is why your loot is so accessible. Attackers can focus on small areas.

    -Mortars aren't the end all for swarms. Many ways to avoid them and with your wiz so spread out on the bottom I don't see why anyone attacking the top would be too worried about splash damage. I think you'd be better off spreading them out.

    You have a long way until th8 maxed and also you need to centralize the cc more and make it more circular.

    Nice to see that someone else is tryin: do the walls and dont be lazy, do them while upgrading defense or whateva thats my advice or you will be bored.

    You may want to read and learn the effects of a centralized CC.

    Say you have 20 Archers in your castle all level 5. Thats 400 DPS - far higher than any other building. For example a maxed lvl 7 Tesla does 87 DPS, just over a fifth of what 20 Level 5 Archers could do.

    If the attacker is not carrying any lightening spells then making the CC as unlurable as possible by placing as close to the centre as you can is a great idea!

    Even then lightening spells arent always enough. IMO Wizards are your best friend when it comes to defence as they have high DPS, decent hp and most importantly have a splash component.

    As far as traps go you may want to try funelling. Having traps in boxes especially spring traps isn't always the best idea as giants may avoid them. By funelling the spring traps you are placing them in a single entrance to a defensive building which is the only entrance in order to get to the tower to destroy it, meaning that it is guaranteed that they will go off when a giant or another troops enters that area. Each trap can spring 15 housing space.

    I'm not going to comment on the base itself but personally I would keep at designing - I would have to agree if there was some decent loot available I would attack this base with pretty much any army composition compared to some of the other th8 designs out there. It is by no means the worst, but there is definetily a lot of room for improvement.

    EDIT: Wiz towers are very exposed, good mortar & AD placement, but I think the very oblong / square design is perhaps holding you back.
