This is a rather convoluted way of attempting to address loot. A better and simpler solution is to tie league bonuses to TH level and increase them.

Fair point, but I am also trying to reduce higher level farmers raiding lower level THs. I know there is a loot penalty, but this idea is trying to help premature bases, keep TH8s and higher motivated to keep playing and as a side benefit it adds more gold into the game.

SC is obviously the expert on all the above, they test and model game economics. I am just trying to give feedback to see if this idea could help.

Please respond if you agree with this idea or think it is over complicated or even unnecessary to add more collector levels. Thank you for your time.

Tying league bonuses to th level does all of those things. In a sense it replaces the loot lost from the penalty without taking it from lower level folks and provides encouragement to make your trophy level equal to what your skill and base development will allow.

Yes it would be hard. You either have to show them a Level 11 Mine with all the ressources your Level 11+ mine collected or they wouldn't be able to raid the Mines at all which would be absolutely unfair by any means. You could go through the long and recalcutate the amount of Gold the mine would have if it was Level 11 but that would be way to much effort.

Oh and everything is possible to programme, the question is only if it's worth the effort.

The further you progress up the TH levels everything gets more expensive you get penalised for raiding lower TH and your source of your own gold income stays the same.

A simple fix to this problem is to increase the gold mine levels for TH8s, TH9s and TH10s. So as you upgrade the TH you can further upgrade your gold mine levels (Level12 for TH8, Level13 for TH9 and Level14 for TH10). As a incentive to upgrade your THs, TH7s and below should not be able to raid this addition gold resources so they can only raid gold from gold mines level 11 and below.

Once a player has maxed out there collector they would be allowed to raid the additional collector level of the raided party as long as they are of the same TH level or lower (not including Level 7s or lower).

I think this would fix both the lack of resources at higher levels and would also reduce farming. TH8s, TH9s and TH10s will farm at there own TH level or higher to gain more resources than they can on TH7s. Everyone wins. What do you think??

Finally, something that makes sense and is FAIR!

    Hi Quysu,

Thank you for responding to the thread but I am not joking. After you get passed TH7 the cost of gold updates spirals up and up. A lot of people get to TH8 then give up because the costs of some upgrades and time spent saving for them demoralises some and they give up. I am suggesting if TH8s and above are investing heavily to get higher collector levels they should be the ones to benefit from it.

As I mentioned earlier TH7 is already the sweet spot, why make it even better??

If you don't agree with my comments please say why. Are you TH8 or higher? If you are lower than TH8 you might not understand the extent of time and effort it takes to try and max your base at higher TH levels.

Thank you for reading this thread.

    Hi Pixova,

Sorry I probably did not explain my idea properly, I meant that lower TH can still raid a collector but the possible loot would be capped at collector level 11 level. Where as a raider who has also upgraded their collectors can raid up to the level they have upgraded their collectors. Hope this clarifies my idea.

This may still be over complicated and may not be deemed necessary. But in my opinion I think this would definitely solve some problems.

Please respond. Thank you for your time.

    Good point.

However with everything else said I think a lv 12 mine/collector at TH9 is also essential. Give the semi active players more loot to keep up with insane costs. And higher halls potentially more to steal off each other.
