Uneven match!!...ENGINEERED BASES

We have 4 maxed 9s in our clan right now & 3 more that are above combined 50 but walls are maxed. We have 1 new max 11 & 4 old maxed 11s 1/2 way to new max. 1 Th10 with heroes 39/40 & 1/2 his walls done. I doubt he will max walls.
We see a lot of max 11s in war. It's very rare to see a fully maxed 10. It's not infrequent to see a few maxed 9s. We have had 6 wars when all the opposing 9s were maxed, with the exception of a few 4 or so short on hero lvls.

I'm not too sure whether there is going to be any significant change .. major youtubers with sc connection who would have access to some insider infos are rlly quiet abt this .. if there was going to be some major tweaks regarding such a heated topic like engineering ,I would have expected much more noise even outside the forums

So then you wouldn't mind your new TH9 with level 1 X-Bows, level 10 King, Level 1 Queen and TH8 troops, matching against a maxed TH9 with level 3 X-Bows, level 30 heroes and max Th9 troops? Since you're asking for straight TH matching without thought to the actual development levels of the respective bases..............

TH7 and 8 in my clan are facing engineered th9. they struggle to three star them because the engineered bases max traps and tesla's, then the engineered bases go and get six easy stars. So yes having a new th9 against a maxed th9 is a better proposition.

BTW, nothing will be done to eliminate engineered bases, people use gems to to engineer so it isnt in Supercells interest to do anything. Just like they wont allow heroes in war while upgrading.

I can put some less subjective numbers on this based on entries to the forum cups. These are forumers entering comps, so probably a bit more committed than the average clasher. Players included in the no dip comp (no restrictions but very low weights were left out when matching), max bases:
TH11: 27%
TH10: 1.5% to 5% (the latter number if you include any 40/40 within 1 war weight - so likely working on walls)
TH9: 3% to 5%

The air vs ground which had high entry requirements (all guns built, heroes at 15/15+ at th9 for example) had somewhat higher percentages, eg 10% at th9.

So the proportion of perma max th9s in the no dip was only 3%. And I believe most of them are for leagues - I had one in my clan in the no dip and he was like that for CWL. I know several of the max th9s in the air/ground are now playing in NDL (which didnt exist until after the forum no dip)

Since I can't give you anymore reputation for this post. I am going to start a campaign to have you made a GASP instead.

edit: on second thought, I'm not so sure anymore....I fear that if he becomes a gasp he'll stop speaking what he really thinks. I don't know, things that are against supercell and stuff

No, I don't think there is an update tomorrow and Darian never said there would be. I could be wrong, but what I expect instead is a release of some information about changes they are working on. I suspect they are putting the final touches on what to say and how to say it (in the forums, released in game, a video, social media, etc.) and how to respond to the response. They might even decide they don't want to make such a statement on a Friday given they are off on Saturday (or maybe that is a good reason to do it on Friday, who knows). Again, I could be wrong, maybe they are actually planning to implement something right away, but that would surprise me.

Dont worry, I've even seen mods disagree with some things within the game or decisions of supercell, as long as they post it in a way that is respectful it's all good

So in casual play probably closer to 1 in 100? Even knowing how people vastly overestimate the frequency of rare events, I was still high by a factor of 10... That's embarrassing.

right now the opp has th9 from 15 to 30. 30th base is 69k

we are th9 14-30. bottom th9 is also 69k

i don't know the rest of the lineup, and it could be horrible at the top or if this is arranged. But this sounds like the mm worked pretty well. Which is surprising given how historically bad it is with maxed bases.
