I would love this idea added this happen to me all the time when i am try to attack people in crystal its very painful to lose like 30 trophies cause 1 troop misdropped

I swear it happens at least once a day I accidentally place a troop and it's outrageous, if this is not included in the next update I quit.

Almost two years of asking for it, I'm not sure why it hasn't been implemented yet. I see no negative results, no way to use as an exploit. Shouldn't be difficult to program...
