things that bother me in years of playing COC!

there's a lot of things that i like about this game which keeps me playing COC but there are few i hated all 3 years of playing...

1. the sound of clan castle that plays when player drop the troops, i always play the game with music off and sound effects on but the CC "march music!" is playing for too long and it is annoying.

2. battery usage! i have a rooted nexus device with modified kernel which totally optimised the battery usage, i can play COC for 5 hours with a full battery. but i blieve if developers give players the ability to for example turn off the animations that happening in game that may help to reduce the CPU usage and eventually battery usage.

3. global chat localization; every player should be in their own country global chat, isn't that an obvious thing? what's the point of global chat when players can't understand each other? huh?

4. clan description font is too small to read need a bigger font please, (signs of getting old...).

i hope developers do something about this issues...

agreed, it's very annoying. Wish this could be toggled.

What do you mean by turn off animations? You want everything to be standing still?

then it is no longer a global chat and becomes a local chat. There are plenty of players in other countries who speak the same language as you. If there was only local chat then American players couldnt recruit other english speaking players from the UK, australia, canada, etc.

4. clan description font is too small to read need a bigger font please, (signs of getting old...).

I am only asking out of curiosity. I have been told that COC is banned in Iran. If this is true, how do manage to play and are there any consequences for getting caught?

1) No opinion. I play with the game muted anyway

2) I can see the appeal to this. Though some movement animations, particularly during attacks, are almost necessary. A better solution might be to see if your phone has a battery saver option and see what kind of mileage you get from that. Mine works wonderfully.

3) Global chat is localized, but by relatively vague geographical regions, not specific countries. I imagine smaller countries like those in the Middle East need to be grouped together to have a large enough pool of players in it, but I'm not well enough versed to say more.

4) Take it or leave it. I suppose there's a good amount of empty space. I would like either more text or bigger text would be fine too

lol no it's not banned, what's your source? don't believe whatever you read or heard without reliable source.

not during the attack, it's not possible you know...
turn off animations just in village. most of the time we are on main village chatting waiting for the troops etc...
every movement/animation needs to be calculated and processed that means more CPU/battery usage.

so many people nagging about their phone getting hot while playing clash of clans, the reason is so many things being calculated in background by CPU, an option to turn off animations could be the solution.

but i should add this too; i don't know how the game operates, maybe even turning off the animation doesn't affect CPU usage. this is something only a COC developer can answer.
