It's no more preposterous than obtaining gold and elixir by shooting arrows over a wall into the storage. It's the same as at lower levels when it is hard to save elixir because the elixir store attracts raids.

This is just horrendously annoying. No pain no gain should be in this game, now since they added a dark drill to th 7, this HAS to be fixed because even after the winter update weak th7s are still using that cheap tactic. What is even worse too is that the defender has NO way to defend against that, no matter how good your base is, the storage can't escape from the spell. People should only earn the dark elixir if they actually penetrate the base enough to get some troops to the storage and loot it from there, but when you just get lightninged and they automatically end the battle by destroying my town hall (I'm farming), you don't deserve the dark elixir, you can get ridiculous amounts of dark elixir from players with town halls above you, and it makes saving for lvl 2 golems really hard. They need to either make the Dark storage invincible from lightning spells or greatly reduce the amount of dark elixir gained per lightning spell hit. It just completely breaks the game.

1 - tough
2 - that is the point of spells, there should not be a way to defend against spells
3 - why? who are you to say how i play the game?
4 - aww, how hard is it?
5 - and yet, the game has been around for over 2 years and is still going strong.
maybe your definition of broken is different than mine.
Who bumped this? LOL, I posted in this over a year ago. I've learnt to accept it, simply because SuperCell have shown no signs of changing it.
So accepting it is less stressful. Easier to accept as TH10 with 3 max drills I must admit.
Are you kidding me right now?
Im saying the dark elixir storage should have a resistance to some sort to the lightning spell, it's zappers that are literally being cheap and can't actually attack like real good player
if you use lightning spells just to raid dark elixir, then you are a horrible player, I earned my minions upgrade and barb King by raiding dark elixir legitimately. Also, there is a reason WHY you set bases a certain way to protect resources, just using the lightning spell is cheap and its ridiculous how much they can steal from all of that
lol, if you think this is a good strategy you are a complete noob, awww you can't use your troops to get to the loot? Too bad, get better at the game and don't be a wuss. Also, by just not using a single troop and escaping with large amounts of dark elixir is broken, but then again, you are probably a bad player with a horribly rushed base
This may be frustrating but you would do the same if it means U get dark elixer needed for an upgrade. Besides they can't take all of your resources so you still have some resources. if this were to be in effect it might make things more unfair due to how hard it is to attack higher lvl bases. It would make it a lot harder to obtain barbarian king available at TH7 and might frustrate other players because then only higher lvl players would have ease of taking quiet a bit of DE. Then lower lvl players trying to get barb King and upgrade troops that use dark elixer can't unless they lvl up. Doesn't seem bad but lvling up takes time and if u were to do that it would only make it good for higher Lvls not other players.
nope, not kidding.
who are you to tell me how i play the game that i downloaded on my phone/tablet?
you remind me of me when i play call of duty.
there is this attachment for some of the guns called a target finder.
it would literally paint a red diamond over someone the moment a portion of them entered your line of sight.
for the longest time i thought this was the cheapest of the cheap, for the record, i still think it is the worst attachment ever created. i would belittle and berate anyone that killed me that way. why couldnt they just "earn" their kills, like i do. i would never use a target finder. i dont need that to get my kills. i got all my kills "legitimately". i used iron sights, maybe a red dot sight, etc.
but over time, i realized that the target finder is a viable attachment and apart of the game, no matter how cheap i think it is. it is their game to play. and if that is how they play to get their kills, who am i to say differently?
this is my game.
mine.
if i want to spend 60k elixir on 3 lightning spells and drop them on a DE storage to get DE, a builder's hut to get 50%, or a mortar to help my barch army, i will.
this game has been out for over 2 years.
the lightning spell was the first spell, i think, created for the game.
as i mentioned before, the game seems to be doing just fine.
Honestly if u were to waist how much time 30 minutes creating one spell while waisting 30k more or less depending on lvl of spell ull have to deal with it.....if I was doing this this gives U 30 min to revenge once logged off if u don't oh well that's your problem for not doing so...this person is waisting 30min if not using a boost then 1/4 of that time and same amount of elixer to create something to benefit them...any other player would do the same as well as think it's fair if they did this
Keep dreaming pal
This is one of those games where everything always has to be rebalanced from time to time
Comparing this game to call of duty is a horrible example, cod gives you the whole game and the doc just ads more content. Updates just fix bugs, this is a freemium game where they constantly add new things that might have to be rebalanced. Eventually you don't realize it is a cheap tactic that will be worthless once the demand to fix it is high enough.
After all, this is a thread on the ideas for the game right? People could complain about the game
It may be your game but it doesn't mean you play it right
also dark elixir was added WAY after spells were added so your logic is flawed kid
