We also trade at times if it bothers you we arent a good fit... U dont need to be a trader to join the hood and u can always stay away from trades but you sure need to be a serious derby lover !!!

yet the love of derby and hayday gives our monotonous life a zing!! we were just so tired of all the drama in other hoods,, slackers not doing their part well.. silent hoods where peope just did derby like robots !! we finally created a hood for ourselves called DERBYDICTED (derbyaddicted !!)

we are group of 17 people at the moment (MEMBERS AND LEVELS VARIES AFTER EACH DERBY DEPENDING ON THEIR PERFORMANCE IN DERBY AND ATTITUDE IN THE HOOD) ,, from different part of the world,, AUSTRALIA,INDIA, UK,SOUTH AFRICA,BRAZIL, CANADA AND USA and we are all champ league experienced playersand well covered considering the time zones.. the love of derby and the wish to make this hood the best one to accomodate everyones playing style has brought us together !

This is a medium sized hood for now, we all have real lives outside the game,, families to feed and dollars to earn,, hayday made fish and chips doesnt fill our stomachs though it looks delicious !!!!so we gotta go out and fight for survival!
when you join you are already a part of the hood,, we dont care which hood you came from and under what circumstances we will accept you with open arms and welcome you gladly!! just be a little patient ,, its a give and take world,,, accept us heartily for who we are to be accepted!!!
If you are in the hood ,, you are already a part of the family and we are all partners in crime !!
There will be times when the hood will be really quiet since its a medium sized hood,, dont join if your sole aim in life is playing the game 24/7.. we wont be able to accomodate you 24/7.. we chat frequently, help a lot and then return to real lives too!!!!!! If u think the hood is silent.. Come on take initiative start the talk..!! A THRIVING HOOD IS NOT JUST OUR RESPONSIBILITY ITS YOURS TOO. AS SAID BE OUR PARTNERS NOT OUR GUESTS..

A simple please and thank you doesnt hurt you, just takes a minute to type but brings a big smile to someone else's face!! we are very respectful towards each other and expect you to be the same !! we dont cross limits unless there is an apocalypse!!
DERBY RULES
1) The cut off point is 315 though we all aim for the highest!! TENTH TASK IS MANDATORY.. For Themed derby the cut off is 330 plus and the limit can either increase or decrease depending on the ongoing derby task board . The leader will continuously decide how to proceed during themed derbies and keep announcing the same on the messenger group
we know prizes arent great but we just love patting each others back on a job well done !! we sure wont kill you if u take a low point task by mistake but please be careful,, derby is a complete team work and your points is as important as anyone elses in the team!!
2)we have big hearts and big barns we will help you as much as we can but would love to have players that are self sufficient mostly.. prepare well ,, dont just take a truck task and expect us to give all 32 orders!!
3) please dont take a wheat task and go to sleep!!
if u cannot comply with derby rules please dont join,, we are derby lovers ,, we love to win and we dont mind kicking out the slackers
check the time validity for each task and decide if u can complete it !! one weeks time is more than sufficient for all leagues !!
Do not join if you cannot handle the pressure of playing in a medium sized hood.. we all know tasks are bad in the first two days of derby and not all of us will get tasks on the same day!! we want only the patient players who know how to handle the derby well.. we dont believe in reserving tasks although if u are lagging a lot we do offer to help you take a quick task first!! but thats not always,, you should know how to pull your weight in derby,, we dont want players to play the initial leagues ,, we want to have players who would handle the champion league like a CHAMP!!!!!!!!!!
WE are still new to each other when someone new joins us ,,so some may leave after doing a derby with us and realising they cannot handle the medium sized hoods and this thing shouldnt bother you cause we know the best ones are here to stay!! THIS IS NOT DRAMA,, THIS IS SELF REALIZATION AND WE APPRECIATE IT !! Not every hood is for everyone !!! And we all eventually find the best hood suited for ourselves.
we dont speed up tasks on board to look for 320s,, please refrain from it when you are in the hood,, we dont mind if you speed up your task though just not the task board please ,, we have members who have timers on phone to trash tasks regularly since they cannot be on game 24/7 . If u r really lagging by the end hour of derby we expect you to turbo the board and complete the tasks . We want to win by hooK or by crook, do ask the leader before u turbo the board and that too in the last few hours before the derby ends, turboeing the board isnt encouraged in the hood until its a dire necessity on the last day when derby is about to end in a few hours and lots of tasks left to complete due to a bad board or a genuine reason of a member not due to a member's laziness or ability to buy lot of diamonds .
we also donot believe in syncing the whole board together so tasks can come and go synchronously, when 20 players are playing we cannot afford to sync the board ,we need to delete the low tasks fast so next task on the slots can come up quicker !! we need a total of 20x10 tasks at points 315 to 320 (regular derby) if each one of them is derbying !! so we need all the tasks we can get to comfortably complete the tasks within the given days !!

We have pretty big sales at the end of derby and we dont mind if you buy them all, just dont forget to acknowledge us,, whatever goes with us goes with u.. as said we are all equals,, we all do our part well!!!

We do have a facebook messenger app to stay extra connected which is mandatory and very helpful incase noone is around in hood and u need some help or wanna make some announcements!! you can always mute them if u dont like the virtual world to creep into your real life! so we would appreciate if u join the group chat .. all major decisions are taken there and its a tedious job to write the same stuff in two places again and again!!
THERE ARE 2 MESSENGER GROUPS,,ONE FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS WHICH IS MANDATORY ,, OTHER JUST FOR CASUAL CHATS WHICH IS OPTIONAL. you dont have o join the group chat if u dont want to but u have to be there in the announcement group and keep it checking regularly for any new announcements!!
NH HOUSE SYSTEM
We usually prefer using the nh house for crop request mostly however there arent any particular rules on those and you can sometime use it for food products too but we mostly prefer requesting crops . for the food products and tools we usually ask in group or hood. We hate people treating the bird house like their personal tom

We dont like vulgar talks or adult jokes in the hood. We are all pretty matured adults in the hood who dont prefer giggling like a teenager on adult jokes!!

OPT OUT RULES
We dont allow continuos opt out for more than two weeks or at max three weeks in a genuine case ,,, If you are too busy to derby even after that you will be asked to stay in hood but in helper mode while we fill your spot with a new derbyer. When u are free again we will put you in derby list but u may have to wait for awhile till a derby space frees up. As said only 20 max members to derby each derby. No less no more !! while in opt out and helper mode we prefer you try helping the hood as much as possible during derby, helpers are as important to us as the derbyers , we will remove you if we see your farm completely dead for more than two weeks and no sign of you in the hood unless you announce before hand that you are going on a completely no internet zone and will surely return to the game .
just one request to anyone wanting to join please dont leave midderby if you are offended by anything in the hood,, we understand not everyones wavelength matches..please just complete all your tasks take the prizes and say a lovely bye and leave .. we wont mind.. we really work very hard for derby and wont like anyone jeopardizing our chances at win !

ps : if you are derbying in some other hood and want to join us after derby ends,, contact the leader have a chat and join the group messenger to chat with the others in the hood , this helps in deciding whether both parties are a fit to each other before they start derbying together . we are very particular on rules but rules maybe changed a litle as and when needed according to the circumstances . in such cases leaders decision is final and the decision is usually taken by majority votes.
