Puzzle Boats

My first PP boat came on Monday morning. Then a few boats later, the second PP boat came on Tuesday night.

No more PP boats sighted since then.

Totally agree - will have all puzzle pieces maybe in time for next U.S Presidential election. It used to be duct tape took ages to gather, then new expansion permits (scrolls) were even worse but the puzzle pieces - 2 per week! Embarrassing new way of trying to squeeze more cash from gullible and impatient payers (sorry, I mean players)

I am okay with the pace of the sanctuary now that we know what to expect. Thanks to the puzzle boat event, I got a nice jump and now have 2 animals and half way to a third. I don't feel any rush.

i can take or leave the permits and not in any hurry there either.

i think I will return to the fishing hole... Quite neglected since the Pearl quest and I am completely out of fish products

As long as we get more of those "all puzzle boat" events the drip feed system will be OK.

It's funny how many of us consider the Sanctuary update underwhelming - yet still demand puzzle pieces like crazy.

I was thinking that too. Like Wussy I am in no hurry. I still have just the one animal and halfway to the second. Must confess I actually forget to check there quite often.

Part of the reason that the "So What Sanctuary" is underwhelming is because of the very slow drip of the puzzle pieces.

It doesn't actually do anything, or even really net anything. A small amount of XP and 2 or 3 drops each day -- not really worth anything. The slow drip of puzzle pieces just exacerbates the problem....

Tbh I don't really like the Sanctuary. I try to suspend the reality of it being FAR too small for one animal, let alone 6 (or more), but I still find the animals really sad looking.

That aside, purely from a 'game play' POV it's 'pointless' & adds nothing to my game.

I like things completed, so waiting for the Puzzle Pieces is just tedious as there's nothing you can (other than hunt red boxes) actively DO to get them. It adds nothing to playing the game, except more frustration.
