Clan wars would have been better. But as for the actual village edit mode, well done! Except I don't change bases very often...

Ohh, so very frustrating to have lost all that I had done during a maintenance break! Sorry but 5 minutes warning just wasn't enough time. I had tried to save mid-remodel, but couldn't! It kept saying you need to put all your buildings down first! But what counts as a building? Everything it would appear!
Please, please please come up with a way of saving mid-edit! How about allowing the player 5-10 minutes to go back in after a connection is lost before the base reverts back to how it was prior to edit mode? Technical problem with this? But you guys are clever! It would mean that the base couldn't be attacked during those 5-10 minutes, but isn't this fair? Technical problem with that? But don't you just love a challenge! And please give more warning or down-time for maintenance or updates starting with 30 mins, then 20, 10 and lastly 5! I don't know about others, but it takes me a tad over 5 mins to do a full remake of my base! Either that or kick off the 5-10 minutes grace time after re-loading the game.
Thanks Supercell!

Suggestion: let us drag walls around buildings
1. Gem your townhall
2 defend your stupid decision
3 feel free to write rants about how hard the game is, and how SC should add more loot
Congratularions! Your coc experience is furfilled the way SuperCell wanted it!
There should be a way to highlight buildings or your whole village and be able to move your buildings or entire village without having to move everything individually. It's kinda like a copy and paste thing. This would save a bunch of time if people need to move their whole village because they don't have enough room to put down all their buildings. They could just highlight their village and move it a few squares to whatever direction they need to instead of moving every single building individually.

I confess i didn't read every post in this thread, so i apologize if this has been said.
Treat all decorations as the same, like walls, it would cut down on a lot of scrolling and make them much easier to place.
allow movement of the entire village. Sometimes you get half way done and realize you're closer to one edge than you want to be.
The suggestions I want to make have already been suggested
I'd love to be able to save edit progress, my internet connection isn't the best, I've had times when the internet would drop out half way, and I lose all my progress, having to spend lots of time to do it again.
And, I'd love to be able to save layouts, like... you make a kind of layout and you can add it to a "layout bank" where later on you can browse through the layouts you've had, and with one click you can revert to that layout again. (probably wont happen)![]()
