Do you have all defenses built?
What are your army levels?
What is your battle machine level?
0 infernos = 2 infernos, therefore 0 = 2
2 wardens = 5 wardens, therefore 2 = 5

actual the BuBa matchmaking is based on your trophycount...
things you can do....
...build all buildings
...upgrade your defense\troops
...build stronger bases (baselayout)
...maybe drop some trophys
its the same thing like in clash royale... the matchmaking is based on your trophycount (and deck) but not based on your player\trooplevel
i would not be surprised if sometimes some BuHa lv 5 players drop their trophys and bully some BuHa lv 3 😅 (same thing like in cr)
