Would be nice to have. Right now is the dilemma of not queuing enough and waste production time, or queued too much and the boat wants something else.
But maybe the best we can get is un-queue with diamond.

I agree, but the problem is that if you could delete items, production queues could be used as temporary "mini-barns". For example, let's say that I have all 8 extra production slots opened on my barbecue. I could throw in 8 bacon and eggs orders into the queue. Since bacon and eggs uses six items (4 eggs, 2 bacon), I could effectively move 48 items out of my barn and retrieve those items later - say, after I fill my boat and have free barn space again.
Maybe the solution is to allow players to delete (and recover the ingredients of) only the last item in the queue. Or else maybe just allow deletion of anything and everything in the queue but to not recover the ingredients of deleted items.
I agree as well. Or maybe the solution is to change the way the queue works ... don't consume ingredients when items are put into the queue, but rather only when production starts. That way we can add/remove items from any queue without incurring costs or affecting inventory. Only when an item at the start of the queue is ready for production does it automatically debit the barn/silo of required ingredients. If ingredients are unavailable, production is paused and would require a manual "resume" when items are available.
I would definitely like to be able to delete items in the queue as I too have accidentally added items when all I really wanted to do was view their requirements.
As for concerns as to what happens to the ingredients, they should go back into the barn/silo! Not enough room? Then a popup box saying so appears (same as when you don't have the space for a finished product) and the cancel action has no effect.
I definitely do NOT agree with the suggestion to "change the way the queue works ... don't consume ingredients when items are put into the queue, but rather only when production starts." If SC did that, we would never know what ingredients we have available for production.

I know ive done it, click something you didnt intend on clicking. There should be a cancel option so that you dont have to wait an hour to complete the action before doing what you originally wanted to do. Its quite a bother when trying to fulfill a quest.
Hi guys,
guess it would be nice having a cancellation button for production queues
I wouldn't mind having that. More important orders may come in. I'd like the ability to prioritize. Don't know how often I'd use it, but it would've been useful on a few occasions I can think of.
Yea that would be nice....but its supposed to teach you to think fully about what you want to do before you do it so you can learn more & become more successful with more knowledge
I agree.. So I can prioritize all the orders... Like if I need a higher score or get paid higher...
