The Builder Base is supposed to be different from the Home village but then why does it work on the same(or similar) trophy, match making system as the main base. I feel this needs to be changed and here is what I'm suggesting :
A different/separate trophy ladder system for each BH level. You start at 0 at each BH level and try to reach as high as you can as you work your upgrades while getting matched with the same BH level! At each BH level the loot caps would start at an appropriate level according to the cost needs of that BH. This would give weight to each BH level and not only make the max BH level worth playing with global rankings separately for each BH level. Moreover it would solve the fair matchmaking problem everyone is troubled with. I believe this would provide a much better PvP experience. Players can simply move to the next BH when they feel they are ready and not because it is better to rush to survive.
I would add more details but would like input if such a system would be feasible or what downsides do people see.
As with the clock tower nerf i would suggest that the clock tower be given two different boost buttons, one that boosts resource collectors and barracks and the other boosts lab and building upgrades. The resource and barracks boost can be longer so people can get their 3 attacks in for sure while the other can be kept as it is now.
I kind of like this idea, but it would make it way too easy to trophy-push if you always get matched against the same BH lvl no matter how many trophies you have.
