No matter what the excuse the clock tower was nerfed for one reason, money. They weren't making as many millions of dollars as they were before so that's a simple nerf.
Since they didn't even announce what they did to drastically reduce the effectiveness of loons, what do you think the odds are that they respond when we ask them to fix it? Not even sure they understand what a customer is.
It was a week ago that Anoushka said she would triple check and get back to us tomorrow...
Darian has succumbed to what he thought was pneumonia, in actual fact it was early onset of the infamous SC disease 'Ostrich syndrome' where they bury their heads in the sand and ignore all the questions and hope they will just go away.
1. SC should stop pretending that there was a point after the release of the Builder Village where they realized the Clock Tower was too powerful. The Clock Tower nerf has been a planned nerf since before the Builder Village was ever added to the game. Instead of trying to trick us, again, SC should just be honest regarding why it was overpowered to begin with. I actually completely agree with their reasoning for planning to nerf it, but disagree with the decision to lie about it.
2. Fix the issue with CC troops coming out in donation order when defending. It seems it is a bug, but one that hasn't been officially acknowledged, to my knowledge.
3. Why has there been secret tweaks to witches with every update? Why not tell us what you're doing? Though... maybe because people overreact when they know about slight nerfs and buffs, and so the only real way to test a change in effectiveness is to not tell us in advance. Okay, carry on.
4. Please improve loons in some way. I realize you probably don't want spam loon, but surgical deployment is virtually impossible vs max bases now.
5. Great job on miners. They're way more useful as a funnel troop than they used to be, but slow enough that mass miners is very difficult. So that's valks, babies, hogs and miners that you've balanced. Witches, loons, bowlers and drags will hopefully be next.
Just so you know the moderator team is still keeping sight of some of the biggest issues. Twister has done a lot of work on comparing the UI for multiple devices and provided that information to SC. I am trying to get clarification on loons and the new CC deployment order.
I am sure I speak for the majority when I say we appreciate the efforts the mods are making to get the answers.
Its just such a shame that this could all be avoided if they would just post a thread with detailed patch notes, the reasons are not that important but trying to learn a new strategy for some changes only to find out it was a bug and will be changed back again is quite frustrating, jumping into a war attack and finding loon behaviour is totally different from the day before with no warning is something else.
When will SC fix engineering in clan war matchmaking?
The only way forward at the moment is to join the engineered clans and start engineering by yourself.
SC, dare to make some bold decisions, or you will never solve this!

No worries. Just burning off my excess DE by using bowler/witch combo while keeping my builders busy leveling and adding defense I never wanted in the first place.
Hilariously, my clan had gotten better than most at bolaloon - and they recently had the event celebrating and discounting it, then proceeded to nerf loons into uselessness. I already saw a lot of very poor attempts against my farming base, but any suckers actually attempting loons now against it are just pathetic. It just makes no sense that they make small changes unannounced like this, when they often announce similar ones. No rhyme or reason - just super lame.
