    Anoushka! You have had enough time to respond to our GUI complaints. At least say something like "we will reconsider this decision" or "we don't care".

    Read her original post. It pretty clearly says "we don't care".

    The thing is, this is not a "sudden change" for many of us. It is a regression back to what we moved away from. I, for one, have multiple devices. I started on a small smart phone 3 years ago. Then got a bigger one. Then I got a tablet. I still play on all devices, but by far, I prefer(preferred) to play on the tablet - specifically because it is(was) "a better user experience." Playing for 3 years on different size devices is already "in the long run."

    This reminds me of when the friendly challenge first came out with no cool down. I was appalled that SC didn't anticipate that sandboxing would be an issue. Same here - I'm appalled that SC thinks this change is better. Since when does anyone buy a larger higher resolution monitor just to have their low-res giant desktop icons simply magnified. Since NEVER! They get bigger monitors to fit more icons & windows on the screen! Such backwards thinking.

    Do you have or know any news from SC about the UI on Samsung tabs?

    It's not only Samsung tablets that has a problem, it is almost every android tablet.

    I have tried to compare the UI experience on the iPad and the Android Tablet in one picture...

    iPad = Apple iPad Air 2 (A1567)
    Tab = Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 (SM-T800)

    To make it perfectly clear, the Android Tablet has a larger screen than the iPad, which makes the UI look even worse.

    @Supercell: Please make the large android tablets receive the same UI as the iPad. We really, really liked it the way it was.
    I really like this comparison. I only play on Apple devices but I'm appalled that this kind of thing happened. We're here complaining about transparency and engineering and supercell responds with ruining android users screens and an apathetic tone to our complaints.

    This wouldn't be so surprising if we didn't now have Darian putting an amazing foot forward, only to have it yanked 2 steps back. Why have a CM be active with the community when you're gonna ignore their wishes and impose your own thoughts anyways

    My Samsung Galaxy S2 still displays the old normal font and icon size but my 12 inch Pro 12 has the mammoth fonts and icons which actually gives me a headache.

    It is not just Samsungs which should be abundantly clear if you are reading this thread. How on earth could they not have responded at all? I'm not even asking for an immediate solution, just an acknowledgment that the UI experience anyone on an Android tablet got massively downgraded and that they would work on a fix. I mean, for them to not even revert it immediately is a cause for worry since I used to work in tech and we would have immediately reverted this. Their testing team must be pretty bad though since this seems pretty universal. I wouldn't expect them to test every device and every iteration of Android, but one simple test on any Android tablet should have shown what they were doing. This is kind of like back in the day trying to make an IE6 fix that ruined things in every other browser such as IE7, IE8, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera (I didn't really bother to test other browsers than that and it was annoying to have to do fixes for IE6 but luckily you could sandbox those fixes out with an IE6 css file). Still, this is an incredibly negative change in the game experience... WHY HAVE THEY NOT REVERTED IT OR AT LEAST COMMENTED? Our only response so far was "this is the way the game is supposed to be" and "haven't gotten anything new today". People have put in hundreds of hours to provide you with all the evidence needed that this was a massive mistake, I think we'd appreciate it for Supercell to actually respond.
