I understand your frustration - I have elevated this thread to a mod to see if we can get a post or answer on this from SC. I wish I could be of more help, but I don't know either.

You have all been wondering about the puzzle pieces. how many are available during a day, how many boats per week will have a puzzle piece, why don't visitors give puzzle pieces....ect. Some of you even find it frustrating and some of you are ok with the amount. As usual, there are different opinions on the subject. However, I would like to tell you that we are reading your comments and suggestions and the same time we are taking a deeper look into the new feature.

When we introduce new things into the game, there is always a little of bit of mystery on how things will turn out, how things will work, how you guys like what we have introduced, but the analysis can't be made from one day to another. We need to collect information and process to see what really makes sense in the near future.

Nevertheless, just wanted to say to those who feel that the amount of puzzle pieces is too little... tomorrow is going to be wonderful day

thanks for the response. i appreciate that you are reading and responding to this issue. however, the question is left unanswered.

we have noticed that puzzle pieces come on boats 1 and 3 after update, and then the same happened after subsequent maintenance earlier this week. is it intentional that, at this time, we get 2 puzzle pieces per week from boats?

while i can understand that new features will yield an unknown response from the player base, it is not quite right, in my opinion, to expect the player base to be able to make a decision about the new feature without an understanding of the parameters. further, there are players that have, and otherwise would, spend diamonds (which = $) to call boats early, fill crates, etc. with the hopes of getting more pieces. if only you would answer the simple question, nobody would waste diamonds under false pretenses, although we've pretty much figured it out ourselves at this time. as far as the general consensus is concerned, we get 2 puzzle pieces a week, though as i noted earlier, there's no way to be sure if it's actually a weekly allowance or tied to a server reset / maintenance. that is why we have been requesting feedback.

i'll look forward to whatever tomorrow brings.

Just sharing my player experience with puzzle pieces.

First a bit of background on my playing style with boats. Unless a boat is super easy I send it on its way empty when I can to keep boats coming in so I am not holding boats endlessly etc.

As everyone else I too received 2 PP boats on the day the update dropped and hadn't seen one for days after however I also haven't discovered a pattern that it's tied to maintenances. I haven't received PP boats shortly after maintenance but got one again yesterday and also saw PP boats here and there from hoodies and in the DD yesterday.

While we also want to get every animal as fast as possible I also was afraid those PPs were going to be rare to keep us busy for a while yet to come so there is some sort of balance to be found there. That said it is my personal opinion PP boats are a tad too rare and wish we could get them a bit more frequently.

I hope that with future boat events we will also be able to get more puzzle pieces.
