No, I did. Right after the update, I got two. The first and third boat. This week it seems to be following the same pattern for many. But I got one this morning (my first this week) and then one that wasn't. So I thought this next one would be one, but it's not.

ah ok. I only had the one puzzle boat as well. 3 boats after that with no puzzle piece :-/

I cannot add anything viable except that I've had the same experience : 2 last Tuesday and 2 today. I have 7 total. Avgs 1/day which is better than what I've seen with permits lately.

Tuesday- Monday of Week 1 I had: a PP boat, nonPP boat, a PP boat, no more PP boats.
Tuesday of Week 2 (so far) I have had: PP boat, nonPP boat, and PP boat.

Will be interesting to see of the every other boat is a PP Pattern holds, OR if last week's pattern of 2 PP boats sandwiched with nonPP boats and then no more PP boats after PP2 for the week holds.

I gotta reply from support this morning - I had asked a couple of days ago if there was a bug in boats with puzzle pieces and described the threads here and my own experience.

Reply was v nice and said no glitch but random(....hmm..) but thst it was understood from much feedback that players would like more opportunities to find puzzles and that was being looked into. So...

Then I got a boat with a puzzle piece.

I once asked support why I could not get a worthy golden trout, even though they were heavier than my silver weighted one and tonnes of them I did catch.

they told me to keep trying, so I cast a line and voila... Bronze golden trout.

i considered asking about my bitterling, ya know... Fishing book filled by support?
