    You are not. Many players did that within the first week of release.

    But not sure what relevance that has to this thread.

    im definitely in favor of just one boost pre day than i am on a ~60% nerf to the clock tower.

    Don't like the nerf but you've got to appreciate what looks like openness and honesty coming from Supercell.

    At least they are saying 'hands up, we made a mistake sorry'.

    You can rest assured this was no "mistake". They had the stats before release. They play tested before release. Yes I am being very cynical. But I cannot for one second believe this was a mistake.

    IF it was indeed a genuine mistake - there are some interesting side effects of this 'mistake' that benefit them greatly.

    It made so many more people interested in the BHB because of this "OP" Clocktower that really helps boosting troop training time and building speed. (A now ALSO "unintended" effect of NERFING the Clocktower is now that more frustration (because of wonky troop AI) and a less effective Clocktower will cause further gemming of troops which equals far more usage of gems. So this is TWO 'unintended' effects benefitting SC greatly monetarily.

    I believe in co-incidences, but we've been fooled quite a few times over the years and found out an intended nerf, etc (past bait and switch tactics and introducing OP troops then nerfing them after they were gemmed, etc) so you know what they say...fool me once...

    I might just be a cynic, but if you look at the situation the way I am a pattern emerges... a disturbing pattern which I don't want to see my favourite game taking that I have spent money on in the past, but want to spend on again in the future. Although, they don't need my money because they are still making plenty. But how many people are going to ask just me in future if CoC is worth it to play, and I'll say no? How many others are going to say this?

    I realise posts like this are why SC pays you the big bucks, atleast I hope so with all the hate spewed on the forums. I just dont understand why SC doesnt get that they could have made such changes without a direct CT nerf. The CT is easily the most loved feature and for SC to not have the foresight to realise a direct nerf is a terrible idea is baffling. Plenty of ways to get the desired effect without honking off alot of people and making your job of explaining it away so much more difficult than neccecary. Do these talks even take place? Its not so much what they do but how they do it that causes the outrage, the disconnect with the community seems huge at times and its baffling. Why shoot yourselves in the foot constantly when to me it seems so easy to avoid. Granted hindsight is a luxury yall dont have but is this not what people at SC get paid to avoid. At times it feels they just say screw it, people are addicted so they'll get over it.

    It's not being saved. The maintenance is in progress and on the other side there is the CLOCK TOWER NERF.
