I'm at 238 on my main farm and 230 on my mini. I have been harvesting like crazy in order to provide trees/bushes for others to revive. I have to say that most of mine sit and sit and sit until I ask neighbors to water or water from my other farm.

Stop complaining and go grow some trees! lol You can't just look for trees/bushes to revive- you have to provide them!

We're so close. Don't give up! We've got one day and 11 hours left. We can do this!

    Oh agree totally!

I just know at least once every day I was calculating the global progress and we were falling further and further behind the amount we needed per day. Perhaps SuperCell bumped the numbers up to compensate for the extra maintenance breaks we have been having.

I would obviously love if it was help us get the reward. There is every chance we will get a player based spike in numbers at derby start too. All those withheld trees for derby will get watered.

I feel a "bell-gate" or Easter tree crisis coming on. Neither of which was won due to outragious expectations by SC. I'm sure there were more super duper shiny prizes not won by these expectations, but those two stand out in my mind due to the sheer volume of foot stamping that went on after those events failed.

This being a BIRTHDAY event it will be much worse I'm afraid. Oh and let's not even mention the fact that the gifts from SC last year were only available through purchase of diamonds packages.

Ok. Back to farming and looking for flags. Ttfn

Exactly! I've been saying this for some time.
So many of us are trying so hard it would be a huge disappointment if we fail.
SC can't be expected to know in advance the level of participation in a global event, especially in a new kind of event like this one. So it just makes sense for them to have a plan B ready in case participation numbers turn out to be lower than they could have predicted.

816 hugs from my 2 farms. No time left to plant anything but nectar bushes. My bees are exhausted, farm is filling with dead wood and white bushes and it's going to take me a week after the event to clear all the dead.
Wheres that wood shop when we need it???

Just under 1 day left and it's looking like we just. Might. Make it!

At this exact moment, based on the current rate of what looks to be 500 hugs per second. We are going to finish the event around 235,129,000. I was checking the rate earlier and it was about 250 hugs per second which would put us at 214,496,000.

We need to maintain an average rate of about 383 hugs per second to win the statue.

I'm still harvesting everything on its 3rd growth, annoyingly it looks like I'm not because I've got a farm full of 4th growth trees 😖

Yesterday morning I started continuously harvest everything regardless of what round it's on: maybe on round 3 goes to derby, but harvesting lower rounds will turn them into round 3 eventually.

Probably many people stop watering after they reach their quota. But watering isn't the issue with this event: it's harvesting. A handful of us nutjobs that like to water stuff regardless of the event can do that part quickly, it's finding things to water that's limiting: we need everybody to harvest.

It's looking promising. I have been taking readings in my "in-between" time at work. The rate needed to win has been decreasing as time goes on which is good news. A lower rate-to-win means it will require less. At the most current rate the goal will be reached in about 11 hours as long as rates stay where they are at.

I had a block of dead tree and bushes and i thought all of them were dead but when I finally found some saws and axes and started chopping I found several that could be watered. It is easy to miss a few that can be watered. So if you have a block of dead ones maybe check to see if some of them can be watered.

What was the point of that?

Not before the event finishes they won't

Harvesting things that don't have time that get to stage 3, doesn't help with the event.

Harvesting stage 4 doesn't help with the event.

I've used well over 200 of each saws & axes, and replanted the orchard (so I now have an orchard full of stage 4 trees, which I'm fine with). So, I'm happy that I have 'pulled my weight' for this Event, thanks.
