I have heard a rumor about an update with level 20 th. Is this true?

No we don't get paid and to be honest I wouldn't want to be - it's not my job it's for a sense of making a difference in a community, although the occasional item of clothing sometimes appears which is nice.

Yes we get give advance notice of things and we give our thoughts on them, this is the customer advocacy part of the role, as we spend so much time here and in the game we kind of get a feel for what will work and what won't from the point of view of the players. Often we agree but occasionally we are pretty clearly in disagreement on things - I hated (and still do) the fact we lost the levels for example.

Anyway thats the main reason we get the behind the scenes info, the other is if there is an issue we can relay that back to the Devs - so for example when we had the under attack bug we all were making sure that was on SC's minds as it affected a lot of people.

At the end of the day it's nice being able to see things from both sides. We have all signed non disclosure agreements which means we have no right to say anything that isn't in the public domain.

That's just my 2c on that question, maybe other mods might like to reply also if they have time - I figured it's an interesting one it deserves a decent reply.

Nothing against the company but mods should be given gems as incentives even if not money.
its an appreciation for the stuff they have did to maintain the forum community.

there is nothing to be ashamed of getting incentives for doing something even if its volunteerism.

i remember in corporate, whenever the bosses ask for something and u volunteer your services, you spend more time, you do more work and you are the last to be promoted and the first to be laid off.

This is a massive community and for mods to get nothing? I think supercell should sit down and think how to incentivize this group of pioneer mods and i do think supercell is making lots of revenues and giving a small token of gems should not be that hard.

We take into account a lot of factors, the severity of the rule breach, the members post history, the number of previous infractions etc. (3 infractions = an automatic temp ban) Each case is different, and we don't take any decision to ban lightly.
