Help with war attacks!

TH 9 with AQ@18 and BK@17. I'm really struggling with my war attacks. I generally use 2 gols, valks, wizards, hog to lure and a couple of archers. My spells are 2 heals, rage, jump and a poison - Bowlers and haste in cc.

Not sure if it's my spell placement, but it seems that my troops run out of steam at the end of the attack. Any suggestions for new strategies or tips! Do you have a teaching clan??

Laloon is great if you have high lvl lava hound

You're using a 2 star attack strat and getting 2 stars.

to go for 3 add back end loons or hogs

try GoHo, GoVaLo, HGHB, HPHB, LaLoon or GoBoLoon. Witch walk or witch slap is pretty strong these days too

search YouTube for some good examples

Your issue appears to primarily be using GoVa (or GoBoVa). That's not going to get 3* often.

GoBoHo, however, is one smoking 3* strategy if you like using Golem/Bowler based attacks.

GoVa is just a 2* strategy most the time, especially if used in conjunction with EQ, which is about as bad as it gets at TH9 if looking for 3* in war against another TH9

Try and practice hghb... it's really good and smooth attack for th9.

Just got 84% on a witch slap.....because I messed up my healers! Two of them went to Gol instead of witches...duh! Thanks for the help!

Witch slap has potential, but I'd look to legitimate/established 3* strats. If you've been running gova, goboho isn't too far behind in regards to the initial funnel

Granted, if you can funnel bowlers, you can funnel ANY troop, but it's not that far from funneling valks. Then release hogs and feast. It's about as good as it gets at th9

Thanks again lunatic! I'll try raiding with goboho first! We just won war and fired it up again . Maybe I'll try goboho next. I find my hogs die fast?!
