Bored with my builder base 😕

Sitting at Bh4 and some days don't even visit builder base.it was quite fun every now and then but becoming boring now. I'm sure there are updates to come but just thinking of how long BH8/9upgrades are going to be makes me SMH. The gemmers will gem it all though and SCs profits will soar. It's genius. Development cost for th12 would have been far too high. So they create a new base with 5 Bhs and new mechanics etc. Prob cost as much as th12 would have, but now they can add additional builder halls for low cost and prob generate similar revenue. Stroke of genius really.

I long ago resigned myself to this game never hitting the perfect mark it could hit with the many wonderful ideas around. .these ideas do not maximise earnings. So guys and gals once you realise this you'll realise theres no point smashing your face against a brick wall which is what you do when you appeal to SC. They will listen only if it makes cash.

True, but I don't agree at all about it being genius. Genius to me would have been finding an efficient and creative way to solve the glaring issues in the old game.

The new game is a very blunt and obvious way of doing things: one way to make the problem(s) in the old game go away is to just not have it/them in the first place, hence the new base. And tacking it onto the main game ensures that you can tap into a large pool of already hooked players, which buys you plenty of leeway.

I'm the same , I've done my 3 wins on the pointless base and my heros are asleep for a bit . No chat in the clan and we just missed our first war ever due non availability.

Yep, I think it is boring too. I hate the walls. The troop combo is goofy. You would have thought they would have learned something about matchups but no, this is worse than ever.

I am finding it boring now as well. Just try to get attacks done but the waiting for some opponents to finish and then waiting on battle machine to get in attack is becoming a chore

I haven't bothered attacking on the builders base for weeks. Boring.

I'm a max 11 on the clash base with 45/45/20 heroes.

This was a huge mistake. I know it created a quick income bump for them, but there is no way I would ever spend a single gem on this side game. It detracts from the real game and adds nothing. It is pulling away the dev's time from working on the real issues in the game.

Agreed. 7 boatless accounts here and only spending the bare minimum time required on my main account. Tbh though the red arrow drives my nutty!

Well, I've tried to give BB a fair chance before making up my mind but like others I now not only find it boring, but also very, very irritating. It has become like an itch you can't get rid of or the feeling of an upcoming proctologist appointment, just overall irritation and unpleasantness. I have likened BB to being like a Duplo block in a Lego world, similar but just doesn't fit properly no matter what and looks out of place.
In my 3 clans I have polled our members and ZERO out of over 120 players enjoys BB. Main complaints are like lots of previous posts such as, cruddy AI, terrible matchmaking, boring, a burden, distraction from REAL COC gameplay, etc...
Honestly don't know what can be done to fix it since there are just sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many problems with BB, but we are stuck with it whether we like it or not.

Honestly, I just "spam" baby dragons + BM, close the app, hit a 6m timer, rinse and repeat. I don't even feel like planning out my upgrades anymore - I'm moving all my defenses to lvl 5 because "yeah, lvl 5 defenses" (roaster and firecrakers are 5; ATs are 6).

I don't really mind the gameplay becoming clockwork because I'm not a huge fan of PvP, but I miss planning out stuff. A BH7 date, so I could actually plan out stuff on my spreadsheet, would make things more interesting.
