Hi Steve,

I think a lot of players get how much effort goes into every update - but especially one that ports the entire game seamlessly to a different platform! Well done to all the team on that!!

However, I think there was a disconnect between what players see as exciting and what you guys did with regards this update. Because it was wrapped into a meetup, some people seem to have incorrectly assumed that there would be a sweet new game-play change, like the Leagues last time. From the perspective of a player today, its hard to quantify how an Android implementation will make their game better or more enjoyable.

So, its massive for you guys, not so important for us (me) - I will let others speak for themselves ...Given this difference in perspective, positioning this as a massive update incorrectly set expectation and there is a bit of disappointment knocking around. Also, and again just my opinion, I really wanted some sort of clashing of "clans", as it wasn't announced in this meetup (and I expect thats the kind of update that would get announced in a meetup), I am guessing we are many months away from it...that made me a bit sad.

That said, I am sure there are lots of exciting things in the roadmap that will truly excite EVERYONE when you get round to implementing them! So I am focussing on that! Oh, and doing my L10 wall, im focussing on that too!

a few nice words, but yet what is in the updates is not good enough, still wanting more, why are so many players so desperate to get the actual clashing of clans? It will happen when its ready! It will probably be harder to implement than it is to port over the whole game to android, and I can garuntee, with every other update, people are not gonna be pleased with any final result. So don't get your hopes up to much, because I'm sure it will let you down, enjoy what the game has to offer, and only complain that they have still left us waiting for the update!

actually it is gonna make a big difference for you, android clash of clans will make a lot of new players, naturally will a lot of them quit the game and become collector bases, but there will also be a lot of people going for the lvl of us who have played for a long time which will reenforce the player base at lvl 50-100 a lot giving many more villages to chose from when attacking, some will go cup hunting giving more targets when we decide to do cup hunting and some will become heavy gemmers giving us a lot more competition on the top and more targets to hit, also they will all start at 0 cups meaning they will all be creating a lot of new cups when going up in trophies allowing the top to reach even further, there is sooooo many collateral effects of the android launch that i will never get them all written down, and most of them matters for all players

..but, will allso cost a lot of gold = fast drop in gold in my storages and the storages we loot :-/

So, maybe bring back the 1 gem boost of mines along with this, to even things out ?

Nope! Spell boost comes with the Halloween theme, and it's in the update Now it's time to boost some resources (or loot from people who have boosted their resources, like me, soon )
