The amount of work that goes into building an android version, that will play perfectly along with iOS was why this update ended being light on new additions. That does not mean future updates will be slower or lighter, as they will be the same exact game going forward.

You'll now have many additional hours to spend raiding (or playing Hay Day) that you used to spend redoing a base.... so there's that.

Also, not sure what the big deal is about the gel cases. They were given to meetup attendees as gifts, and we'll be giving them away for free on twitter/instagram/facebook/forums, not selling them. They weren't part of the update, just a nice, sweet looking thing for our players.

Sorry Steve, but why over hype this update. I know the android version would have taken a very long time to produce and would have been very difficult to make it work on both platforms simultaneously. But to your current players this is not a "mind blowing" update. If anything it is a risky one. Will the game be as stable? Will there be more frequent maintenance breaks? In short, how does it benefit your current customers??

Again, I apologise if it sound like I am moaning, but please don't hype up updates that are very low in new content.

Nope, that maintenance break is for the resource boost It was actually Daddy's idea, the boost He suggested it when we were chatting about what people would enjoy while preparing for the update. The team loved the idea We've never done this before, so I'm really looking forward to hearing what you all think about it!! (IMO, what would be a better way to prepare for an update than some sweet resources... heheheh) Daddy rocks, it's a brilliant idea!
