Steve said in my Base Builder thread 2 weeks ago that Village Edit Mode wasn't in the works to be implemented soon but that it was on their radar. So when I see "eventually", it could, but might not mean what it seems.

Hopefully they just don't want to reveal the big news to early and are trying to throw us off until the big announcement tonight!
