Getting EXTREMELY Irritated!😡😬😡!

I have been trying to buy from the Daily Dirt these items when posted : nails, screws, panels, tape, planks, axes, saws, shovels, pick axes, TNT, Dynamite, rings, blankets and other high end items.
I watch the box and time it just right and I used to be pretty successful... Until last 3 to 4 weeks.
Now I see the items tap to buy them and every time it says it's already bought! How can that be as its there & I selected it but after it says this... Every time!?! I'm becoming very very irritated! Can this be due to all those "bot" farmers? I don't think it's entirely me now so there has to be something else to factor in...

I don't often buy out of the DD, as my barn is usually to capacity, but hood mates of mine have had this problem too. There is a thread about the bots buying expansion materials even when no ad is being placed.

It has always seemed that as soon as "the SC team" starts gearing up for a big update the bots are out in force. Not sure if it's because no one at SC is paying attention.

Let's hope it gets under control soon.

Not sure if this exactly relates to your troubles, but this can be a side effect of minimal or no bots in the paper.

Yes, there are times when no bots is actually a bad thing. Without bots there are far less farmers selling items, as such the competition to reach any shop you find in the daily dirt is much higher.

With bots around you may average for example 5 players seeing a new ad the moment it is placed.
Without bots you may average for example 15 players seeing a new ad the moment it is placed.

As such, you're going to miss out on buying quality goods a lot more often without bots.

The human only supply vs demand makes things very difficult. Demand clearly exceeds supply without robots.

I say this because not that long ago many of us witnessed a flood of likely bots in the paper, SuperCell have recently terminated them - which has returned the paper to human levels.

It's pretty rare that I am able to buy an ADVERTISED item in the paper unless it's something very common like pumpkins or wool. Then it's about a 50% rate of success.

I find most of what I want to buy in shops where something common has been advertised. It's an odd way to shop so I don't actually shop much. But to find exactly what i want right at the moment in an Ad and actually find it still available can lead to more frustration than I want.

You need a fast device with no lag to buy expansion mats out of the DD successfully. The game (specifically the DD) on a fast device is night and day compared to playing on a slower device. If you think your device is fast enough, and you are having this issue... you're device is not fast enough (or the game is not optimized as well as it is for other devices).

I play on an iPad Air 2, it's items are either available (in color) when I get there, or it it is greyed out (already bought). Or, I see it grey out before I can click it. Very rarely do I ever get the "someone else has bought this" notification. Paper also opens instantly too, no lag in loading it or flipping the pages.

I've also played on first gen iPad mini - where I encountered the same problems you have mentioned almost every time I tried to shop with it. The item would never grey out even if I sat in the store for minutes. Then go to click it and would get the "someone else has bought this" which likely happened within the first second I was on the rss. not the 1 minute I waited.

I also have a Kindle I play my account on when I make my diamond purchases (Amazon coins FTW!).

I can't speak to playing on other android devices, I only have Apple devices other than my kindle which I only use to purchase diamonds.
