When the new rule was applied from one of the recent updates that prohibited users from rejoining a clan they had just left or been kicked out of, many of us rejoiced. We run a tight ship in my clan of adults only and have grown tired in the past of kicking out kids who constantly rejoin and clog up the chat with profanity or something childish. Having to 'info' the clan, find the culprit in the list, select him and kick, becomes monotonous when he just keeps coming back. This update prevented us from having to stay as 'invite only' status. For this, we are thankful.

Our clan requires a minimum of a TH8, and since many mature and responsible future clannies may not have reached that level yet, we have a feeder clan for them until they are ready. Some of our members have accounts in each clan, others sometimes go back and forth and help donate some higher level troops to the lower level members. Sometimes, we have time sensitive information that we like to share between clans. This morning I headed over to our feeder clan to pass along some news and was rejected mistakenly. This is their fault, not the games. So back to my clan I went, waited a bit, and tried again. Of course this triggers the message that I must wait to ask to join this clan again. Frustrated, I try to go back to my clan again and I'm locked out of there as well. So I wait the hour finally get into feeder and stayed for a little over an hour. When I was done there I try to go back to my home clan again, thinking that since an hour had already past I would have no problem, to find a 2 hour cool off before asking to rejoin.

This is a long winded story to get my point across that we need an assignable/revokable (from leader) open door privilege that allows members, or maybe just Elders, the right to go back and forth between the clans that granted them that privilege. I know there has been buzz in the past about the ability to link feeders to parent clans, as well as talk about higher ranking elders, and that would be great if that eventually happens but I think it's important to have these open door policies in place whether those other updates happen or not.
