Hi,
I'm 31 and looking for a clan where there is actual interaction between people.
I have level 8 TH, 4 builder and almost all troops ugraded to max. I'm currently in process of upgrading my walls from pink to purple and I normally donate around ~1 000 troops per 2 weeks.

Hi Morden, well we can definitely offer interaction. You are very close to Centuria standard. I would recommend joining Centum Ludus and getting stuck into your trials. They are great fun and most players that take them learn a lot, sometimes we learn from the players. I look forward to meeting you.

Hello! i have been playing for a couple months and as a newbie i joined a random clan. Had lots of fun there, and during that time i learned about the farming gameplay reading and watching videos. Once i was really into farming, my interest in joining an all farmers clan grew and started looking for one in my global chat (I'm from Mexico): I didn't find any and while looking for some ideas for my new TH7 base layout i ended up in this forum and saw this tread... enough intro.
I met the requirements, applied and received immediate response from an elder. When i joined i was welcomed by a really friendly group of fellow farmers with a lot of experience. After the advice of the group, the challenges, replays and the constant sharing with all. I realized how much my farming could improve. I now farm around 1.4 mill an hour in average, have all my walls maxed at lvl 7 as well as my splash dmg and an almost lvl 2 BK. If you want to improve your farming and join a group of serious farmers.. there is a spot here for you!

Would like to discuss this matter here as it was opened here. I thank you for your honesty but I really think you missed a lot from the trials if you feel like this. Taking this on a point by point basis.

Firstly timed challenges are set to see how good a farmer you are. If you struggle to make 1 million in an hour then it suggests to me that your army comp and base selection are wrong. We have studied the best farmers over many months and feel that 1,2 or even 3 million gold is entirely possible to achieve in one hr. To achieve that it take practice and effort. Most players at TH7 struggle but any player at any level will always benefit from the test. It will help you become a better farmer.

If you couldn't get good, consistent loot sub200 then again, you could have asked any elder for advice which would have been freely given, there is also advice all over our forum on sub200. It's a shame you were playing at a timezone that wasn't covered by our elder team otherwise both these issues would have been addressed for you and you would have made much faster progress.

Our elders and leaders put a lot of time and effort into setting these trials up and running them, so we require effort in return from our members to take them in a limited time period. We are looking for serious players not casual players that lack the desire to take on and complete a challenge. That is why there is a time limit, otherwise players just wouldn't bother to try and so many here, (read past reviews) have felt grateful for the push.

I'm glad you brought up these issues though as it gave me an opportunity to really explain our trials system in the Centum Ludus. I hope it encourages others to want to join and take on the Challenge!!

My record here was 2.2 million gold in an hour, so I do not believe that i struggled in farming. I got a 9.5/10 on my base review by you not too long ago (I very much appreciated it ), so I do not believe my base is an issue either.

When I asked for advice with sub-200 farming, my only response from the two main elders were "Try it again" or "keep searching". I didn't give up and followed their advice- dropping trophies 4 times in 4 days to do sub-200, only to find the results worse than my normal farming at 1200-1000. I know that it doesn't have to do with my timezone because I'm on very much, sometimes spanning a good 14-16 hour chunk of time.

I agree to your point, but as I have iterated before, the dull challenges can be an issue, at least for some of us. The last I checked, there were more players that had bowed out of the trials than people that had actually passed the trials in the time I have stayed so far. I finished all my trials except for one sub-200 trial in under 3 days. I couldn't bring myself to finish the last one until the deadline because I didn't want to deal with dropping trophies and only getting minimal loot.

I don't really like the attitude that you're bringing to the table, making it seem like all these issues I brought up were my fault, either explicitly or implicitly stated. Whether it being that I "missed a lot from these trials", or that "that I struggled to make 1 million in an hour... [because my] army comp and base selection are wrong." I also didn't like how you directly came to accuse/assume that I wasn't playing on the same timezone as the elders, while in reality I'm on more than most of your elders, and I wasn't getting good advice from them regarding sub-200.

The problem is that not for even a smidgen of time were you thinking that some of this could've been anyone else's fault but mine.

Regardless, I have no beef with anybody or anything. I'm now here to help this clan move along and address a lot of these issues as an elder.

To players interested in joining the Ludus who are reading this part of the thread please weigh up the views of the vast majority. We are trying to help identify players training needs through tasks. Some may be considered dull, we don't force players to stay and any Clan at TH7 level will have a lot of players passing through, the majority that do stay though become really good farmers and quickly progress to strong TH8 and TH9 bases.
