Started playing this game since 11 months ago and as a female, I found this game ridiculously addictive. Joined in an American clan back then for 8 months and unexpectedly became one of the co-leads when the leader retired from the game because of personal issue, have considered everyone there like own family right then. And then some day later, dramas and conflicts sprouted up and effected me much in negative way mentally. And kind of destroying the main purpose of playing this game in the 1st place. Decided to quit that home clan peacefully for the sake of my innerpeace .

After that, joined a quite organized clan named 'B*bb*', nothing to complain about except that 'slightly' discrimination between usual members and elders/upper title. Quitting them much more easier since logical minds played the big factor ��
Since getting into th9 in this jan, target on maxing my base has been much focus for now and finally found Centum's thread in SC forum. Replied by Godzilla in the forum and got PMed by gator 선배님 to join.

Can't helped but observing every single thing inside the clan. Very well organized. With all the control sheets updates and such, I wonder how can the elders are so willingly spent some of their time and energy for this trials. Are they even get paid for this? #wonderwhy lol The most difficult trial for me would be #L3 Gold rush!�� Tried for 6 times before suceeded on it. But, i'm relieved with the result. Tbh kinda proud with my own skill xD

Tbh got a bit annoyed when words like '♥♥♥♥' or sth like that appeared on the chatboard. Negative feelings growed up instantly. But i know there's nothing I can do about it, just can control myself and hoping that someday soon, crews will be able to notice my borderline ����☺

Also noticed that most of the crews are indeed good people. Am I right? Even no one blames me when I scored 0 stars in last week's clan war. LOLOL. I am so touched with that simple thing. Every donation request are filled up pretty fast. But the one that I noticed the most are the generous one and this shoutout goes to SE/gator 선배님, Hades, Highlander, Hammerstone, Scott leader, phenom Andy and Kara. Not because they are the super donators of the clan, but simply because they simply took time to brew wiz for me when they don't even have them atm.
Oh! There is this fav quote of mine: "Wealth is not measured by how much you have but by how much you can give".
Also when Kara called off the no #14 in the clashcaller for me to have a fairer match, but still at the end I got no stars for the clan xD. And also when phenom took effort to post picture of war strategies in band when some member need it the most. Those positive thing inside this centum ludus that amazed me personally. So, i guess i'll stay and have fun while seeing the clan grows up..

What a great clan!
I have really enjoyed doing the ludus trials. It has totally changed the way i play and look at the game now.
Doing the trials has taught me a lot of different farming strategies and troop combinations, that I had hardly or never used previously.
The clan is run VERY professionally and everyone is really friendly and helpful.
I look forward to moving up and doing the next trials.

Before Ludus, I was a member of two other clans. As I progressed in the game, I became aware that I was upgrading faster than other clan members. By the time I reached late TH7 I had realized the necessity of efficient, productive farming to keep my builders busy at all times and upgrade my village at a reasonable rate. It became clear that my fellow clan members were not able to instruct me on how to improve my farming. When I reached TH8, I began actively looking for another clan where I would receive such instruction, eventually finding the Centum thread on the SC forums. I spent several weeks upgrading troops and buildings to meet the minimum application requirements and applied as soon as I met them. I enjoy Clan Wars but requested Ludus over Gladius because I felt my farming skills were so weak. The claim of farming 1M gold per hour in the SC thread, (now removed), was very intriguing. While I had farmed over 1M gold in an hour previously, it was due more to luck and circumstance than to skill, and not something that I could repeat at will.
I tried not to come into Ludus with any preconceived ideas or assumptions about the Trials. I did hope that there might be some level of tutorial or instruction before hand. This was not the case. It was more along the lines of, "Did you bring your sword? Good, here comes your Lion." The Challenges themselves were not excessively hard and I did not find any of them to be overly boring or tedious. I did enjoy completing some of them. They did illustrate some of the concepts around efficient farming. Unlike some other graduates, I am not sure that I learned what I feel I need to know to farm as productively as I would like to. As an example, the L3 Challenge to raid 1.25M gold in 1 hour can be seen as the core of what it means to be an efficient farmer. However, the manner in which most trialists complete this challenge, speed raiding and losing several hundred trophies over the hour, is not sustainable in long term game play. If you spend 1 hour farming 1.5M gold and the next 2 hours getting back into the productive trophy range then where are you? So I am not sure that this challenge was instructive for overall efficient farming. From looking at the weekly stat sheet it is clear that there are clashers in Ludus that farm productively in a consistent manner. They can look forward to me farming them for instruction on how they do it. I plan to explore the limit on gold and elixir production per hour without boosting and while maintaining a productive trophy range.
I do have some other observations and suggestions for the application and trial process if there is interest in hearing them. It doesn't seem that here is an appropriate place for a detailed list.
In the week that I have been in Ludus, I was surprised to find that the best feature that I appreciate so far is the 18 and up atmosphere. My previous clans did not tolerate childish behavior. Even so, I did not realize the extent to which I was subconsciously filtering out teenage drama.
Finally I would like to express my appreciation for the Elders, Co-Leaders and Leader of Ludus for the amount of work that they put in to run a clan that is constantly holding trials. Reviewing applications, sending acceptance PMs, giving introductions, approving challenge submissions, answering the same question about how to complete a specific trial (for the 800th time), and all the other effort required to hold the trials is probably not why they play CoC. But Ludus, and thus all of Centum, is better off because of it.
