I joined Centum Ludus a week ago, and it is definitely a cut above every other clan I have been in. The clan is well organized, well run, and supportive. I was a little worried when I joined that it was going to be a boot-camp experience with those who have passed the trials condescending to those in the middle of them, and those in the middle competing against each other. Nothing could be further from the truth. The elders have passed the trials and provide amazing advice and support to get you through, but they do not use that as license to elevate themselves above you. The trials build a sense of community with the other trialists. I talked with others about the ones they were on and how they were doing them.

The piece I appreciate the most about Centum Ludus is the intentionality. In past clans I have felt a sense that we are grouped together and moving together and that is the end of it. Here, there is an overarching vision guiding the members towards improving their skills while improving their bases. During this whole week I have never felt like what I was being asked to do for the trials, the way the clans are divided, nor the ways the clan engages the game have been anything but moving that vision forward.

When I first joined Centum Ludus I expected it to be like any other clan that I had been in, we talk, we donate and we war. Within the first day I was proven wrong. As soon as I joined I was welcomed into the family. They explained to my the clan rules and the trials. They also answered all of my questions. I was already set on the right track.
I was originally worried about the trials, I wasn't sure if I would be able to complete them, or even understand them. When I came across any problems or things that I didn't understand about the trials, I was informed what I needed to do and I was even given tips on how to complete the trials. I feel that I had benefited greatly from the trials and had learned a few things from them. I was surprised at how each and every trials had a purpose behind it and none of them were there for no reason. The trials were very well set up and I enjoyed doing them.

So you're reading this thread and thinking, can these clans really be as good as people say? The simple answer is Yes. The longer answer is that they're even better! Centum Arena is undoubtedly the best organised, most active clan I've ever been in. I've now completed the Ludus and Arena trials and my clashing has improved dramatically. The trials do take you outside of your comfort zone but everyone is so friendly and helpful (and not judgemental at all when you occasionally mess up) that you soon find your confidence levels increasing. The range of bases I can now consider raiding has increased along with my enjoyment of this great game. Get that application in, you won't regret it!

I just did the trials in Arena and they were really, really tough. As a Founder of this group I thought I should concentrate more on War and learning how to raid better and was hoping that the trials in Arena would help. In the 2 weeks I've been here I've got loads better at Gowipe & Gowiwi, 3 stared a Th10 with dragloon and started to get better at that attack. I've achieved this through the constant coaching and tips from the team in Arena who really go the extra mile to stop and comment and help. I strongly advise any player who wants to learn how to raid in War effectively to give the Centum process a go and you are never too high a level to start. I see many players who are TH10 and they opt out all the time from War, I'm never going to do that again and it's thanks to the help from this Clan. Thanks so much to Jon for his advice about Gowipe/wiwi, to Bp for his dragloon advice, to Alesia (cheers hun), to Lulu and Dell for being such charming hosts also and to everyone who has helped give me tips and advice on every replay I showed in the clan. This really is a first rate learning environment and I can't recommend it highly enough.

If we join this clan will we still be allowed to visit other clans/ friends' clans?

If yes, will the donations that have been "wiped out" due to leaving/re joining clan be included in the donation counts etc?

yes of course. We dont encourage visiting whilst doing trials, but after that its cool, you just need to make sure your leadership team knows in advance. If you have to, the donations given are ok as stats are taken from your friends in need, if you need receipts for a trial however you will have to screenshot them before leaving

I started out by joining Centum Centuria and have been here for about 3 weeks. To be honest this is the best clan I have ever been in. They let you relax and farm but also expect alot from you which I like because it gives you goals to reach. Thank you my new family (Centum Centuria) for everything <3
