LUDUS REVIEWS
I thought I was good at farming. I could pull in a cool 1/2 or 3/4 million in an hour. What could these Ludus trials possibly teach me? Turns out they taught me ALOT! After I completed my trials I pulled in 3.7 million gold, and 3.5 million elixir in a single 1 hour boost session using my newly acquired skills. In my experience, the trials were sometimes very challenging, but always fun. They force you to step out of your comfort zone, and learn to be a more efficient farmer. - ViciousKittens

My goal in Clash of Clans is to be the best. To someday see the name Gabranth at the top of the Leaderboards, looking down upon all the other players and know that I beat them all. Today, I feel like that goal is one step closer.
Before I joined Centum Ludus, I was the leader of a moderately successful clan and by far the best attacker. I scoured the Supercell forums for new attack strategies and base designs, picked up on things through trial and error, and learned to farm efficiently. Eventually, I hit a point where I realized I wasn't growing any stronger. Nobody in my clan could offer me any insight I didn't already possess and one can only get so far reading strategy guides. So I struck out on my own (after making arrangements with my clanmates of course. I'm not someone who simply abandons his friends at the drop of a hat), started looking for a higher tier clan that could offer me... something. Anything I didn't already know.
After some time, I came across Centum's application thread. After reading through the pitch, I knew that this was where I belonged. The 10 challenges I faced were a crucible, a trial by fire, the passage through which has strengthened me in ways I didn't know was possible. My farming is now at least 5 times more effective than it was less than a week ago. If Ludus can help me grow as a farmer so much and so quickly, I cannot wait for the Arena Trials! - Gabranth

GLADIUS REVIEWS
I joined Gladius to be able to play with my friends. I had heard a little about the trials, but was not prepared for what I encountered. Past guilds had been somewhat helpful, giving troops for wars, but nothing on the level of what I encountered in Gladius. Everyone is supportive with advice, encouragement, and of course clan castle troop request fulfillment.
Going through each trial, I found some easy and some quite difficult. Farming gold had never been much of an issue for me, but I was challenged to learn different strategies when I was forced to use specific troop configurations. After that, farming both types of elixer was easy.
I was similarly challenged when it came to the wars. I've used dragons in most wars I've been in, but I've never used balloons, so I spent time watching videos and practice raids to learn how to use them effectively. Golems, wizards, and PEKKA was another strategy I had just started trying out, and it really forced me to get better quickly if I wanted to pass the war trial. Each war battle was planned, reviewed, and revised. I had to really focus and try to anticipate what would happen as my troops went forth from their deploy points. Each battle was nerve-wracking, especially those that I didn't win. Despite that, in the end, I took what I had learned along with the great advice from others in the clan and fought my way to earning those victory stars.
I only have a level 8 town hall, but thanks to what I've learned, and the support of the clan, I'm sure I'll finish maxing out my current base soon and be on my way to level 9 and donating higher level troops in no time. - Draconvolk

Where do I begin...lol first I applied patiently waiting while continously improving my base to meet the standards that they told me. Checking every other day. Then became really busy with work and realized I had a notification to join the clan that was 4 days old...At which point I was like "well looks like I missed my shot." But they still allowed me to join. For a game where everyone is a stranger I honestly felt welcomed there. I struggled a lot during the wars because of me being a premature TH 10. If you actually sit down and logically plan out your attack things fall into place. Everyone had great ideas and we're more then willing to help out....not to mention the CC request was on lock down. I truly appreciate the time and effort Given to me when I asked for help. Great group of people from around the world. Last 10 days were a blast. Thanks for giving my the oppurtunity. - Randen

ARENA REVIEWS
First of all I have got to say thanks for the help not only to my coaches but to the whole clan I couldn't have done it without any of you. I've learned so much about those war stratagies but most importantly I had fun!✌ I loved the coaching system it's more helpful to just go and talk to you coaches about what and what not to do, it's easy and reliable. Following my graduation from Ludus where I learnt to farm lots of loots in a short period of time I joined Centum arena which in its self presented a bunch of new challenges to complete. I picked up quickly on how arena seemed to run there wars and was thrown in to some chat room with 2 strangers I had never met before these are now known as my coaches Hades and Bill. The whole system of coaching the new players to become better players simply blew my mind. The amount of helpful tips and tricks they gave me were more than any other clan has given me in my years of playing clash of clans. The actual trials them self held challenges and some needed a couple of go in my case this was getting a 3 star with govalo which before this I never really thought to be effective how ever it was in fact it's really fun to! Now completing my trials at arena I feel much more confident in attacking difficult bases as I now have a much wider range of attacks to use in any scenario. Big thanks to the members, elders and leaders at arena and a special thanks to Bill and Hades for coaching me through the trials. - Bailey
