Can a TH7 get to master's league? Need advice on strategies and army composition.

I've been going for this for a week or two now, highest I reached before I got knocked down was a little under 2500 (can't remember how much as I was drunk >_< which maybe why I'm now working back to Crystal 1 :P)

I knew it would be hard but I didn't realise it was so hard only a couple of people had done it >_<. I made it into Crystal with TH6 without too much hassle but the amount of townhalls that are snipe-able in Crystal 1 is tiny and drove me broke searching for opponents >_<. I was kinda hoping that was bad luck/timing or something but sounds like it might be best to give up on that 1000 gem bonus anytime soon :P (I've been doing this without microtransactions except my first 'i would have payed for this game' transaction that got me to 4 builders)

Well will see what happens when I reach Crystal 1 again in the next day or so :P, getting 3 starred anytime I log off for more than 5 minutes (or 30 seconds sometimes :P) doesn't help >_<

Solid effort mate, I found it a struggle to get to crystal 3 as a TH7 haha, I laugh at my stupidity from those days. I will be undertaking this challenge as a TH8. Hopefully I can get there.

Thanks. Be sure to fill up your elixir and gold storages before you start the climb, since they are going to be your warchest for the long battles ahead. You can save a lot of time and energy by straight sniping town halls all the way to crystal (just constantly pumping archers from three barracks and giants from one). Always searching and sniping and queueing troops. You will learn on the way what townhalls will have lightning traps, how to tank mortars with giants to buy your archers time to snipe etc.

After 2000 trophies, i like to snipe with my main army of dragons and minions, I don't have to worry about mortars when i use minions and if there are tesla, i just throw down 2 dragons to tank and release all the minions. These exposed townhalls will become less frequent and you will have to rely on your main army and your ability to pick bases you think they can at least one star. Always side on caution when looking for bases, if you have any doubts about a victory, pass up on it. It is demoralizing to lose an attack and lose 25-35 trophies when you are gaining mostly 5-12 trophies at a time. Good luck if you have any other questions or want any other tips feel free to ask.

I got to near master(crystal2) using all balloons minions and some other minor troops(10 barb and arch) to get there. I gave up cuz I rushed and attack and lost 32 trophies. But if you have lvl 4 baloons 2 minions and use a rage spell a heal spell and a light spell its possible

I started From 900 trophies (farming) to 2600 in 6 days. I reached masters today

It is very possible, but it is VERY hard. You have to town hall jump to reach master at TH7
