thanks, just wanted people to know it's possible, but you need a lot of luck and patience. I did straight 8 hours session raiding the past 3 days, using shields before the game automatically kicked me off the last two days. I was at 2593 yesterday and had to shield before I was forced to log out.

I never gemmed resources, I was maxxed resources from raiding up until 2400. My record haul was 1.6mil total resources and 4k de around 2100 trophy level. I did gem the two shields and I did use gems to boost the spell factory on occassion. I used less than the 1000 gems gained from the achievement to do it.

You got way further than I did, I couldn't get past 2300 without gems

at least he is at gold 1, I could hardly get to silver 1 with my th7 untill yesterday (i got to crystal)

I actually find that getting past Silver 1 to Gold 3 is actually harder than getting from Gold 3 to Gold 2 and Gold 2 to Gold 1 etc, mostly because the players down there aren't serious enough to have exposed Town Halls so you cant just ride them up to Gold 3 (my preferred Farming Range) you instead have to do serious attacks which is the same as above 2200 (No Exposed Town Halls, maybe 1/200 on a lucky day and usually surrounded by Teslas and in range of Defences)

Just to give an update, I was able to make master's tonight and the highest trophy i got was 2604. I am now at 2574 after losing a raid at 49% . I did ended up gemming for the 1 and 2 day shields the last two days in order to get to master. I don't think it would be probable without the shields. I reached 2454 and loss 43 trophies to a revenge raid overnight, it took a days of raiding to gain around 80 trophies.

I did wanted to give up several time, especially when I loss one raid and fell for 30 trophies or when it took over 200k to find a suitable base. I was looking for farm bases but you cannot count on those alone, they are few and far between after 2200 trophies. What I looked for was based with empty infernos, empty xbow or base with upgrading air defenses. Most of my victories were 1 starred 50% victories and I also had a few 2 starred victories.

Once again, just checking in to say that it is possible still but very difficult. Also I saw a few of your forum elite players in my searches, they all had great bases that I would never attack .
