    flip target from ground to air and air to ground

    This spell is simple because it will temporarily change the targeting of different defenses such as canons would attack air units for a little while such as 10 seconds and Air defense would shortly become ground defense. this offers players a chance o take out air defense in another way but they would have a limited time to do it.

    Flip-Flop Spell
    Cost:40,000 coins
    training time of 20 minutes
    range: 10 block diameter
    available after lab 4
    duration of spell increases as level increases (17 second max)

    Due to its capabilaties that might make it over powering i suggest the option of making its stats
    Cost: 50,000
    training time: 30minutes
    Range: 15 block diameter
    Cost: 2 spell slots
    or have a small and large spell option for not just this spell but possibly for all the spells where the large spell takes up two spell slots.

    It has the potential to be OP. If you're attacking someone with vulnerable air defences, u destroy them and deploy a spell. Now you can attack without any mortars or cannons bothering you. When the spell runs out, deploy another one. The gemmers wont care about the 200k gold they need for it to last close to 1 and a half minutes (thats just level one, if it gets to a 30 second duration at a higher lvl 4 will last the whole battle). So keep scrolling till you find a base with vulnerable air defences, destroy them, deploy a spell, attack as normal. 30 seconds later drop another etc. You can destroy a base without having to worry about bombs, spring traps, giant bombs, cannons and mortars. Could be OP.

    It's a very interesting idea though, ive seen threads that make ground troops fly and vice versa but not buildings. If it only affected a small area instead of the whole battlefield it would be less OP, but 30 seconds is still enough to destroy all of the affected buildings. I may have missed something though.

    i made some adjustments like i changed the range to be a 10 block diameter and the duration now only lasts for 10 seconds with a 17 second max. i thought about adding something that would require it to take up 2 spell spots and keep my origonal design, what do u think on that?

    The numbers dont mean much to me as i quit 6 months ago, but what you should ask yourself is would i prefer to have this or a lv5 rage spell. If you cant decide, you've got it right. So would you rather have one 2 slot flip spell or 2 rages? Probably 2 rages. But i dont know much about the balance of the game anymore.

    Actually gemmers can't keep searching for battles. They have to take the first one that they come across.
    due to the massive time they spend online and the fact most are attacked at the exact instant they log off it's they click once in the search button and they spend hours looking at the "searching" screen before they actually find someone to attack. And they have well protected and well upgraded air defenses, so they won't use this strategy.

    And I like the idea. It's sure an interesting twist it would be add new strategies. We lack a splash air defense except wizards, that has very little range. If you turned the mortar into air, you'd face a new problem minions attack. Also the air defense has the highest DPS of all defensive structures, so you'd have to think about it. And if the X-Bow was targeted to ground only it would target the air only, so it wouldn't attack ground troops.

    This idea would sure be a nice addition to the game

    I personally have never used rage spells but i think that id prefer to have a brief 40 second set of time where some characters would have a better chance at taking down a wall instead of being rined on by mortars. but as stted in the previous post, you would then be targeted by the super powerfull air defense which could kill giants and wizards in no time flat.
    you are also still being attacked by archers and wizard towers since they attack both so its not like your troops are getting off scot free. so i think most people would have a hard time choosing one over the other based on whatever new strategy they come up with on how to utilize it. me personally i always use the lightning spell and destroy at least 1 or two mortars to start off a match so that i have a better chance at spawning large numbers. this would add an extr factor where i wasnt really destroying it but instead imobilizing it for a short time.
