Why was the season extended?
Sorry if this has been answered already
But what was the point?

Not been answered yet. I'm more upset the "sorry" was only for the shield reset. Myself and most others in legends I know are choked about another 7 days in legends we were not expecting. Combine that with just a few days ago being told they would be clear with community about upcoming changes, yet nothing on this.

Actually one more explanation on why some players season lasted longer! MY Main got season reset while 2 other account didn't got season reset!

I'm fine with it being reset, doesn't bother me to much, accidents happen.

Is this extra week intentional :/ ? Was looking foreword for this season to be over. Its always been the first monday of the month. Why change that in the middle of the season like this? It really dose matter at legend league when the season ends. counted my shields trustimg the season will reset next Monday like it was supposed to

Just a quick follow-up regarding the League badge reset, as I mentioned earlier it was a bug related to extending the season by one week. There were no trophies reset, but you'll still need to do one attack to place into a new league. As far as the reason why, I believe one of the other Community Managers will be stating something. But as I said, it was an unintentional side effect and I wish I could offer more than an apology for it.

Was anything stated yet by another CM? If not, when may we expect to hear something? Thanks.

Been a day and complete silence. Cheers SC for continuing your complete lack of communication. Admit you made a mistake, pony up (perhaps a few gems per clan)?

After the promise of better communication between SC and the playing community and the initial improvement we experienced. Such a shame to have gone back to the old ways of 'keep quiet it will go away' attitude.

It's very disappointing that we still don't know why the season was extended without notice.

Is there some big change coming up that needed the season to be extended so the new system would be ready in time for the next season?
