I too pulled up my long-awaited net only to have caught 2 little coppers! Are our fishing spots drying up or something? I was really disappointed. SC needs to tweak this soon, the waiting times are ridiculous!

I think that, because the nets are free, like the red lures, we will only be able to catch copper and huchen fish, unfortunately. I have one net always down in one of the spots and then two lobster cages and leave the other areas for regular fishing. I do wish the time for the nets could be cut down though. If it's going to be 20 hours then at least we should get a whole bag of fish, not just two or three. I have yet to catch four with one net.

Is the amount of fish we get per net random? I sometimes get three but more often than not I only get two ...

I wonder if maybe it has something to do with location (ie: we get three fish when throwing the net in a particular fishing spot)?

LOL. You keep on making me laugh with your antics with the clashers. I think they may be planning an attack on you. They will "Clash" you and get their worn back. lol.

Don't agree, that would be to easy.
I agree the nets take to long for just a little amount of fish (but some people like them anyway), but the same (at least) as fishing with lures?

Yeah. This has been an issue for many, including me. I am never away so long that I put one in the water. When I go away the phone comes with me, hence Hay Day does not get a break.

I do have some in my box and as others, am in need to put them in the water to make space in my box. What to do?!?!? Probably will do it the night before an expected busy day at work, at least 12 hrs will pass before I can get to the game (will still probably sneak a play in but is the only strategy I can think of to get rid of the fishing nets).

I made 2, only had to use 1 to decide it was'nt anything for me. Had the same question: what to do with the other one? I gathered as much fish I could with lures, then, with a nice stock of filets I threw that net in in the river; happy without nets now!

I hate fishing the regular way so much that I make 3 nets overnight then throw them in the water and forget about them.
