I hate the crusher, but as soon as I am coming from the other side mass barbs is still a reliable 2 star strategy
Same here. Just got it today. I think my #1 goal from the Builder Base is simply going to be to collect gems. So that means maxing the gem mine, clock tower, and elixer collectors (to remove obstacles for gems).
Sure I'll still play and level up other stuff but this will be my focus.
at level five it produces 3 gems a day.....
Lol I'm not getting the gem mine. Such better things to spend your 120K elixir on, especially since it's a scarce resource because you only get 3 lots of loot per day. I spent mine on level 6 archers and I feel like if anyone else is wondering reading this, it's wayyyy more worth it. Get the third army camp first of course, but once you've done that, 5 seconds of invulnerability on your archers means you can basically kill all defences without many deaths.
The crusher is amazing though. It's like a hard counter to giants and obviously barbarians. I don't know if they'll nerf it though, hopefully not.

Getting crusher was a bad idea for me, i got it like straight away, not realising that what you have you get matched with, and have only really been matched with them since!
Now on way to bh4 i know to get all offence going before i put heavy defence down! haha
