Also, if you can't trophy push, there's less reason to raid outside of the 3 loot bonuses per day. They don't want to discourage activity either.
No one expected SC to nerf sniping two years ago. Be prepared for anything. Looking at how SC wanted us to put every building down before moving to the next BH shows that they didn't want us rushing ahead to the last BH. If they can nerf rushing to prevent people from getting more loot, they will.

I don't think SC will ever nerf rushing on BH because they already control the pace on the F2P crowd with the requirements before upgrading to next BH, the loot limit and the builder limit.

I also think they are promoting rushing based on the numbers. Look at it this way: one can spend 1.6 mil gold to upgrade two archer towers to BH5 for 228 more HP (114 x2) and 10 more DPS (5 x 2) over 2 days; or one can spend 1.552 mil to upgrade BH to 6 and build a new AT up to BH4 for 760 more HP + 276 HP (builder hall HP increase) and 48 more DPS over 3 days, 10 hrs and 20 mins.

I've got the same thing on my 3rd account, a BH5 going to BH6. Heck, we might face each other. This at least tells me that BH5s well below 3k are upgrading to BH6, which means, in another day or two, BH5s who decided not to upgrade to BH6 will be facing us.

I suppose that's a fair point about sniping, but I don't see their incentive here. Sniping they were trying to encourage full raids. What do they gain by preventing rushing? And how would they do it? There's no way they will require full upgrades to everything before moving up. That's just never going to happen. They could put loot penalties in place, but you don't get to control who you attack. That would go over like a lead balloon. Besides, if they do nerf it, if your offense is strong enough (which it should be if you're rushing--that's WHY to rush), you should be fine anyway.

Well I chucked a few more gems at BH than I initially had planned. As a result ....

    Roaster lvl 1 down
    New AT still on 2
New Crusher upgrading to lvl 2
1 elixir pump upgraded to lvl 6
Beta minions upgrading to lvl 9
    BDs lvl 12!!

Sitting at 3756 and despite my upgrades most I face are higher levelled than me. Many on full max.

Sorry Saleh, I know you started this thread as a FTP journey to max so feel a little dirty about it. New toys are fun though!

One of my losses today was v lvl 10 mass Beta Minions. The way they flood the base is very impressive and the air defences struggle to keep up. Didn't have the Roaster up for that one though so that would likely have helped.

That's not really a strong argument looking at upgrade costs to see if they are encouraging rushing. The most expensive upgrade at every builder hall level is in fact the builder hall. Which encourages people to upgrade that last. Or they can save up for it, whatever they want. The builder hall is not only more expensive any other building, but significantly more expensive. Lvl 6 AT costs 800k while lvl 6 BH costs 1.2 mil which is 50% more expensive.

Not only that but I have two points above which have yet to be rubuttalled as to why SC may nerf rushing. Key word "may". I'm not planting my feet and saying they will or won't. I'm keeping an open mind and looking at what SC might do.

Truly all these statements I've heard so far about how they won't nerf rushing have been assumptions since they lack enough supporting arguments and rebuttals to my arguments.

No worries. It is a thread about rushing to max. Being f2p is just one way. You can rush with gems as well. Faithless also gemmed some of his upgrades

As long as it makes you happy just do it. I enjoy playing through all obstacles rather than reaching the end point. It is each one fun that matters & nothing else in a game.

We all know that SC's reasoning behind nerfs is more for the money rather the well being of the game. They wanted full on raids but they also wanted to see an increase the gem sales of the everyday player. They also wanted people to climb in trophies for the whales at the top to feast on.

By nerfing rushing they essentially gain a way to stop people from gaining easy loot. Just like what they did with TH sniping. It may increase gem sales, it may not. As to how they will do it, I have no idea. They might think of something, such as having the BH lvl affecting MM at trophy levels below 3500. Or they could add loot penailties if a high lvl BH is in a lower trophy range.

Of course your offense should be strong enough. I encourage people to focus on offense and when they achieve their desired offensive goals (such as lvl 8 BD at bh4) then they can move onto the next BH despite low lvl defences. That's not bad rushing and that leaves you the most capable of adapting to a rushing nerf.

Just caught up and i think upgrading to BH6 asap is the right move even though there is no 5th camp anymore. Today I've been upgrading my gold storage to lvl 3 and will need to wait until tomorrow for enough elixir to get it to lvl4 so i can afford BH6. Just under 24hrs until lvl10 BDs. May hold of my upgrade to BH6 by a day or so depending on what you guys find when you get there in relation to matching other BH6s and if its still goes my trophy count. Im sure you guys will keep me updated.

Funily enough I pretty much never gem my main base which was fully maxed TH11 before update. I guess by gemming 1 and not the other I get to see both sides of the coin.

Guessin what SC is going to do is crazy. No matter how you slice it.

Sniping was removed years after the game
came out. So you are willing to wait years in the hope that SC will nerf rushing?

That just doesn't seem like a smart plan to me.

I've been around long enough to never guess what SC will do.
