[BH]Rushing to max

I have rushed from bh4 on. I have also prioritized maxing collectors and clocktower as soon as possible after bh upgrade. Got to 3000 trophies about 3 weeks in and have only spent 41 gems on finishing bh5 early one night.

Currently have all buildings at max lvl except the following:

Lvl5: guard post, 1 firecracker and gem mine

Lvl4: 2-crushers, air bombs, roaster and 1 firecrackers

Lvl3: multi-mortar

walls 2 lvl 1, 3 lvl 3 and rest at lvl 2

I have mainly used sneaky archers from the beginning and been just getting in my 3 wins daily. Maxed my BM to 10 right after getting my Sneaky archers to 12. Hovering in the 3500-3800 range.

Troops

barb-10, arch-12, giant-12, min-5, bombers-going to11, bd-4, cannon cart and nw at 1

I am now concentrating on the ground troops as I am finding that ground armies are having more success against my base than air. Definately skewed a bit as I have all my traps on air as I am still finding the majority of attacks are still air. Still have to plan my next upgrades but have to time things so that I am doing a 2 day upgrade at the trophy reset and have lots of gold at month's end.

I am currently alternating my Builder time between 1 day defence builds and the Battle Machine (currently going to level 8)

I have the following 1 day defence upgrades left:

- 1 fire crackers to level 6 (1.2M)
- 1 double cannon to level 6 (1.4M)
- 1 cannon to level 6 (1.0M)

All in all 3.6M needed (i.e about 7 days to collect the resources)

Add in the Elixir obtained in 7 days, and I'll be able to alternate the BM and get him maxed within the next 7-9 days too

Now, this is where I need some advice .. Loot attacks stack over 2 days, and we woun't miss out on loot if we can conduct our attacks within a 44 hour period .. great.

.. but how do we coordinate the coming 3 day updates?

As I remember, the Crusher6, Roaster6, MultiMortar5-6, AirBombs6 are all 3 day upgrades.

Will you attack without these defences, or just gem the last day of the upgrade?

Yes. You will most likely not loose much troophies and gain it back in no time. If you dont plan to spend a lot there are better options to gem than building time.

I plan to cos my roaster is upgrading to 6 as we speak. I hope to catch a few of those NW spammers with some well placed giant bombs for the 3 wins. It's better to lose trophies than skip daily loot,currently at 3.7K trophies and there is no how i will drop 700 cups before grabbing my 3 wins.

I have some time before I reach 3.7K trophies (currently at 3.2K) and I see the argument.. It should be possible to be matched up with a few spammers, without dropping below 3K :-)

I'm doing my 3 days upgrades now & leaving 1 day till later. I attack with 1 defense down. Even if it takes you 6 attacks to get the wins you will be roughly around the same trophies

Just make sure you never leave your attacks till next set of attacks because your cycle will be reset to that new time. Also you can regain lost trophies once your upgrade is done. I'm floating around 3.5K while doing those upgrade with no issue!

It's been a while since I posted so I figured I'd give my progress at BhB6

Trophy lvl: 3800-4100
Max troops: hero, barb, minion, baby dragon.
Bombers going to 11
Giants 8
Archers 6

Max defenses: ATs, cannons, testa, FC.
Roaster and double cannon lvl 5
Air bombs, crushers, MM lvl 4

Not sure what I'm going to upgrade next offensively after max bombers.

On a side note. The NW is the last troop I will upgrade.

I think it's the worst troop in the history of CoC. I've never seen a troop where you deploy every one in one corner of a base and then just watch the rest of the attack.

I love offense, and I don't think the game should be as hard as it is on the main base.

But the NW is just ridiculous.

Back on track, at 4K I'm seeing mainly bases similar to mine, rushed with fairly low level walls.

I'm sure once the season resets I will see maxed bases everywhere.

It's really helpful to have a ground and air option.

as a f2p its never good to loose loot timer even for 2 hrs. & if u dont want the trouble of setting alarm & remembering clash all the time, you hav to do your attacks even for the 2 day upgrades with a defense down. i hav completed all the 2 day upgrades & will complete the last 2 day upgrade in the crusher tomo. and i hav always attacked with a defense down. its not that hard if you plan your traps around it. i hav been able to stay above 4k but always dropped 100-150 cups when ever i played & gained some of those cups back once that defense was up. though i dont know how its in higher trophies as i only do my 3 wins per day. surprisingly airbombs wasn't the toughest but mortar was. will begin 3 day upgrades asap. may be il drop huge but it will be worth it when bh7 drops.

Great thread. I followed your advice and rushed to th6 too.
When I have a defense down I'm frequently matched against someone who also has a defense down.
Does anyone else see this? I'm just over 3k trophies

Today: Upgraded a wall. Plan for tomorrow: save for a wall. Plan for next week: upgrade a few more walls.
