    What needs to happen is for players to build and upgrade the gold mine and elixir collector. Give it a day - you'll have all the loot you need to get well into BH3.

    I truly don't know or care. I don't have a problem with the loot cap as is right now (probably because I'm a Supercell fanboy) and also because I do my best to enjoy things for what they are, unless it's flat-out terrible, which the update is the opposite of.

    I know a lot of people objected to it, so from an unbiased game standpoint, that seems like a good solution, but I'd have to give it more thought

    If the difference in actual loot available per day is not significantly different then I do not like it - being required to play more to attain the same amount of loot does not sound like a benefit to me.

    I would much rather see the attacks remain the same and have the cool down lowered - perhaps not all the way to what you had in the developer build, but maybe to more of a middle ground (like 12 hours).

    I do like the idea of a small reward for additional attacks - but I would still not want to be required to do more attacks for the same (or close to the same) reward.
    Same here, being required to play more on Builder Base just to have an additional little amount of loot is not rewarding. Better just stay the same 3 wins boom you got your reward. Cool down is another case, SC may set in after 12 hours so that no hardcore player can't do more attacking and gem player are force to wait.... coz it useless for one builder only.

    So SC built a Clash Royale style Pay to play 'sub game' into our beloved Clash Of Clans game.

    For those who like Royale (and ive no issue with them) then Im sure tinkering with the loot cap will appease them.

    As it is though, given we are feeling forced to have to use this new 'game'
    Currently, we are forced to do a few attacks for some loot. Facing many frustrating draws... then we can choose if we want to attack more for 'fun'/ trophies'.

    I think if Lachs idea happened, then we are forced to do many more attacks... Facing many more frustrating draws in order to achieve possibly a bit more loot.... then we can choose if we want to attack more for 'fun'/ trophies'.

    I think forcing people to play MORE in an area they may not really choose to want to play at all is not good... and lachs suggestion would do just that.


    For those who don't like Clash Royale (like me.. Ive tried it a lot... I really have), then Id rather this sub game was in no way 'linked' to the real game of Clash at all.

    Its fine that its there... ideally I could choose to poke at it every now and again... or not.
    but oh no... I feel like im being forced to play this area or I wont be able to 'gear up'.

    There should be no link to the Home base.

    The Builder base is a separate base, with a separate loot system, and a separate game mode.
    Playing this separate 'game' should be separate and a choice without consequences.

With this addition, the loot cap may not even be needed, seeing the large amount of ties/draws (which would lead to resource loss, and capping naturally).

    Yours would be better than what it is now, but I would probably prefer the 8 hr cool down or maybe even a 12 hour cool down but the same win bonus. I like the update, but I would like it more if you could get on and hack around a bit and then come back 8 or 12 hours later and do it again.

    Regardless, more attacks are needed.
    Knowing SC they will only buff defenses and tell me I got what I wanted.

    liked the idea but the rewards with your proposal seems too much, the progression will become too easy, just change the rewards a bit so that you get same amount of rewards as you would get with 3 win system, (and keep the unlimited loot at the end the way it is now)
