...... not seeing the few things in your homebase, you can only optimise, if you go further in the builder base.

I say this because the system is fine as it is. Like you say, the max base at this stage is BH5, what fun is it if we increase the loot and everyone is maxed out fairly quickly?

Personally the loot cap makes sense and works well. If further BH levels are added, then the loot system should be looked at to help progression move along in the early BH levels. For now, keep it as it is.

I can only imagine the rage of players reading my comments right now. But remember, Clash has never been about maxing out a base quickly and easily. It's a grind, has always been a grind and should always be a grind, unless you are willing to part with some pennies in return for the shiny green gems.
Well Beetle, I'll give a few reasons.

    1. The new game isn't a grind. You can't grind it.
That's the point. I had to drop over 1000 gems to get any fun out of it. Not many people will do that. It's not a likely first step for so many people.

    2. Loot cap achieves nothing except frustration. You're still limited by lab and 1 builder time, so not everyone can max out THAT quickly.

    3. There is no problem caused by maxing out. It's actually a good thing.
Maxing out your main village is the never-ending journey...that has nothing at the end because of the hopeless trophy system.
The length of the journey is off-putting to anyone that wants to compete...then those that complete the journey realise they can't compete without commiting their life to boredom (clouds).

This mode is actually made better by maxing out quickly (even playing field), and has a real and endless end-game, that of constant, cloudless competition.

My expectations for a massive update included fixing the massive problems that plagued the regular game: Engineering and Clouds. So while I don't have a huge problem with the content of this update, I'm disappointed that there wasn't more content directed at the base I've spent over 2 years developing. I also don't like the fact that I will be at a disadvantage in my old base if I don't develop my new one.

While the new world is kinda cute and interesting, the battles are kinda monotonous and have very little at stake. If I lose a match I simply try again in 1 minute until I get my bonus after which time I've exhausted all my resources by building a fewthings and then go back to my old base and wish for a better life there.

In a sense I agree with your comments. A lot of the rage surrounds the loot restriction. It is that feature which prevents progress. They could quite easily remove this and increase the costs of upgrades/time taken to upgrade. That way getting to BH5 is still a grind (which I enjoy).

But restricting the loot restricts the number of attacks which in turns restricts the fun. It just does not make sense to me. They have a great template to work from with the main village. The mechanics should be the same. Farm for loot, wait for the upgrades. A simple yet very effective gameplay.

    Hi Lach,
Thanks for Creating this thread Yes Definitely you are right Loot freeze is ok we accept it but may be having a small tweeks to this will make things interesting we can give small amount of loot like say 200 for each attack and also 10 or more attacks to win big not three attacks this will make player interested in each attack

What's wrong with maxing it quickly? This is not our main village, just a side-feature, so we can play with something while our troops are made/Heroes sleep.
The loot cap should be erased, loot bonus should be significantly decreased.

Good to see you guys (SC) acknowledging the flaws of the current loot system.

Personally I think your idea is great, except 10 wins is too much for a daily challenge (especially when there are draws, which means you could play well over 10 matches to achieve that amount of wins). Decrease it to 5 wins (and increase the amount of win bonus as a result), and then we can play as many matches as we want with the "Bonus Win Bonus".

The game takes only minutes to train a full camp. It's meant to be a quick fire game. I feel that 20 attacks, you'll still get through that quickly.

Why not just make everything more expensive so we need to attack more to save more to upgrade? And as more content is released, give discounts - same way coc is handled. Don't add a fake limit of how much we can play or not.
