I'm sorry but you can't say that this loot cap is in anyway acceptable in its current form. Poorly executed. Now, the idea of a loot cap is interesting. But the way they executed it was not good. The point of capping players at some point is to cut them off at a point where they're just about to to cross that line in fun that would lead to a drastic decrease in interest. Think of the lives in games like Candy Crush or the stamina in Fire Emblem Heroes. You get enough to be able to play and progress but a cap so that you also have limits. And it's almost a welcomed limit, because by the time you run out of energy you almost feel "done" for the day. Here it's like they give you one life or stamina a day and tell you to wait another for more before anything even gets started.

It gives you time to push up with trophies plus i rather not wait 1 day for a tesla or 3 days for the BH

Loot cap is good.... but seems harsh. It will be better to bring 10 battles with slightly less loot.

this way you won't feel that you work only for cups.... and if you are not caution the situation on storage you will waste a lot of resource

Here is my perspective about the loot cap.

I think there is long ramification for setting the size of the loot cap whether it is increased, made unlimited or kept the same. Please consider the following:

Some of the moderators said that they were able to max this builder village very quickly, almost couple of weeks maybe less. This is th5 and i am in th3 in my second day and already making tons of upgrades without gemming.

At the current level loot cap: i will play 20 min per day. I will max it in 1.5 months. The update will come in 3 months. A new level will come, which leads to 20 min per day and so on. I believe this is a very reasonable, comfortable and fun progress.

If we double the loot cap: i will play 40 min per day. I will max it in 3 weeks.

If we make the loot cap unlimited. I will play for as much as i want. I will max it in 2 weeks.

i could gem it all. I play one time for 20 minutes and boom done.

i think the first option is more way more attractive. Supercell got it right.

    Here is another consideration:

the first option could be divided into several: double the battles and but keep the same total loot.

This is a bad option. It gives the impression of getting more loot when in return you get the same loot but you have to work doubly hard for it.
TH11. Farming in legend the new spells. I have decided to ride the wave, manage my expectations, and take things positively. I try to find something postive or beautiful in any new thing and just embrace that. Life it too short

why should a game just be about building?

then force us to only play once a day to drag it out?

how about changing the focus to competitive play?

let people play as much as the want and earn rewards for being good?

CR was able to do it, you can play that game all day.
    CR is fun too

The bad thing about the loot cap: I'm busy irl, but when I'm not busy and want to sit down and clash, I don't want restrictions. If I have a 2hr time period to play one day (which normally gathers millions of loot on main base) and can't the rest of the week, that's really restricting how much loot I can get

TWEAK FC: Let us challenge previous bases in war log. Place a "Challenge" button under the "Replay" button in war log, that appears after the war is over. These extra challenges will allow people to see exactly where they went wrong in war, how to fix it, and gives everyone 10-50 new bases to practice on every 2 days, without building them themselves 😊

Loot cap needs to go period. The entire second base needs to be scrapped (Players compensated with Gems). New building needs to be added like the lab which introduces equipment. Equipment lets you add a feature to a troop or building. Creates diversity to make the game more exciting using some of the ideas from the second base. 1v1 becomes a new raiding option with no loot cap.

If SC had done that... would the update have been a game changer? Yep. Controversial? Nope. Would they have made money hand over fist? Yep!!! SC dropped the ball big time and have lost credibility. Now they need to come out and fix it, make things better.

Agreed on loot cap needs some rework but I'm not sure about your point comparing to candy crush etc with limited lives or stamina. I've played all those types of games and then clash came along with it's play as much as you want (farmer) and progress or gem... I believe that along with the social aspect of this game made it the success it is today. The loot cap is not that style and needs addressing but I have hope it will get better...
