Need help net and lobster fishing

I've created several nets and several lobster cages and have not been able to use them. Don't even get a choice of we're or how to use them any help greatly appreciated

The same with me. I have no idea how to use the nets to catch lobsters and fish.

When you're in a fishing area, instead of choosing a lure, tap on the arrow symbol (the same as the one for crops) and you get a choice of the nets showing up.
